Third had been avoiding the others. Yo tried to ambush him at lunch a couple of times, Forth kept showing up at his dorm only leaving once beam dragged him off, even Pha tried to slip him notes. But Third never even pretended to acknowledge their antics.
He was hurt. Yo was like a brother to him. Forth WAS his brother! And he decides to have one night of fun with his boyfriend and he gets shamed for it? He was furious. So he ignored them.
He was currently sitting at the desk in Ming's room, working on his latest project while Ming took up the coffee table with his drafting equipment working on some measurements for class. Kit was on the bed his books and note sheets spread around him and look of utter confusion on his face.
"What the fuck was I trying to write here? Did I have a stroke?" He mutters, but it sounds loud in the otherwise empty room. Third can't help but snicker, not lifting his head from his sketch. The silence seems to stretch on before there's a knock at the door.
"I'll get it." Ming says, stretching as he stands up happy for the distraction as he heads to the door. Third nods and digs through his supply bag for his eraser, having left a stray mark when the knock had startled him.
"Ming-" Yo starts before the door is even fully open, his eyes glancing around the room. "Oh and others. Sorry, am I interrupting?"
"No we're just studying, come on." He leaves the door open and walks back into the room settling on the arm of the couch. "What's up YoYo?" Third turns in his chair to watch their interaction.
"Actually I was hoping to speak to Third..." He turns to the other boy with big eyes. "Third I owe you the biggest apology..."
Third doesn't say anything for a minute, looking over at Kit hesitantly. Kit easily takes the hint and pushes his textbook off his lap and makes his way from the bed to where Third is still perched in the desk chair, resting a hand on the back of his neck to keep him calm.
"It's your call baby..." Kit says softly. Third relaxes a little under the older students touch and closes his eyes for a second.
"It's okay Yo..." Third says as he looks up at him. "You were looking out for Ming...I don't blame you...the situation looked bad. I'm more upset at like, my brother, who knew better. And Beam, who knew what was going on even if he doesn't want to admit it."
Yo practically threw himself at Third for a hug, Kit laughing and stepping back so he didn't get slapped in the cross fire. Third steadied himself with one hand on the desk and the other around Yo with a startled gasp.
"Jeez child you are not as small as you think you are compared to me." Third sasses, but settles easily with his friend in his arms. Kit moved back over to the bed to pick his book back up.
Soon enough they had settled back into a nice lull, Yo having settled onto the couch behind Ming typing away at his phone while the others finished up their miscellaneous tasks. Third was the first one to finish, joining Yo on the couch while they flipped through random channels on Ming's TV. Ming was soon after, leaning back so his head rested against Third's legs who stroked through his hair without really paying attention. It took another hour before Kit finally called it, packing away his notes and heading over to where the other three were entranced by the TV. Kit watches the screen for a minute before looking at the boys.
"I'm sick of being inside. Why don't we go out for dinner?" He smiles as Ming and Third immediately perked up and turned their attentions to him.
"Noodles?" Third asked hopefully.
"Whatever you want." Kit laughs softly as both boys get up and go to get ready. Yo just looked up from his phone.
"Sorry, Phi. I promised Pha I'd go with him to dinner tonight." He says with an apologetic smile.
