When Kit arrived, an hour after everyone else, without Ming? Third started to panic a little. He gave Kit a questioning look, but Kit couldn't even look him in the eyes, downing another drink. Third kept his phone balanced on his leg where the multiple unanswered texts to Ming showed, his screen dimmed so only he could see them.
Third Place:
'Ming?'
'Baby are you okay?'
'Where are you?'
'p'Kits back shouldn't you be here too?'
'I'm starting to get worried Ming.'

Third lets out a sigh and puts down his drink, starting to type out that he is going to come track him down, when the door opens.
"Look who I found wandering the beach." Laem calls, stepping out of the way to let a dejected Ming step through the door. Third lets his phone fall to the floor in his seat as he gets up and goes to Ming.
"Ming?" He asks carefully, trying to catch his eyes. Ming pointedly won't look at him for a long moment before he finally gives in, looking into Third's eyes. Whatever Third can see in Ming's eyes is enough for him to take his hand, even in front of the others. "Are you okay?"
Ming forces a smile and nods, not saying much else. Third watches him for a moment before taking him over to the table. Ming sits at the end of the table, Kit to his right, Third to his left. As Kit sets a drink in front of him, Ming looks up to the older.
"You need to not take everything I say so seriously, Nong. I thought you were following me back anyways." He says, his voice soft.
"You told me not to...to stay there...I didn't want to make you more mad." Ming's voice sounds deflated, and Third hates hearing his confident boy sound so defeated, he turns his eyes on Kit who glances at Third before immediately looking away. They don't talk much the rest of the night, only to refill drinks, or answer the others' questions.
Slowly the room started to empty, seniors heading back to their chaperone duties, stars wanting their beauty sleep, and moons just taking the party to a new location under the watchful eye of Laem who agreed to watch one of the chaperones rooms so he could go into town. Soon enough, only Kit, Beam, Forth, Ming, and Third remained in the room. Third finishes off his drink as Beam and Kit get up to leave.
"Hia." Third turns to Forth. Can you go stay in P'Beam and P'Kit's room please?" Forth looks at him questioningly from over the rim of his glass.
"And leave you unsupervised with a drunk Ming?"
"He's not drunk. All of his drinks past the second one were watered down." Beam says, even as they all watch Ming sway slightly where he's sitting. Ming doesn't even appear to have registered them saying his name, he leans over and rests his head on Thirds shoulder, letting out a small, deflating breath. Third looks at Forth pointedly before looking up at Beam.
"P'Beam could you please?" Third motions to his brother. Beam walks over and puts hand on Forth's shoulder. "Give them the room, Forth." He locks eyes with the engineer, and they seem to have a silent conversation. Forth gets up, slipping his hand into Beams, and Third is so going to question him about it later. But as the door shuts and locks behind the three older students, Third's attention falls solely on Ming as a tear streaks down his cheek.
Third helps Ming up from the floor and walks across the room with him. He leans Ming against the bathroom counter before grabbing a damp rag, wiping the tears and dirt off his lover's face, when Ming lets out a heartbreaking sound. Third let's his arms wrap around him as he sways forward, head on his shoulder. Ming relaxes as Third starts to stroke his hair, his breathing slowly evening out, and tears drying on his skin.
