**Setting: Kildane Station, just after Sunslim has refilled on water. The atmosphere is tense as Sunslim's crew gathers around him, concerned about the rumblings in the distance.**
**Sunslim:** (panting) I can't believe I pushed myself so hard. I need to stay focused; Vicarstown Bridge is just ahead.
**Crew Member 1:** You shot past Edward without even checking on him! What were you thinking, Sunslim?
**Sunslim:** (defensively) I didn't have time! I felt the pressure to keep going. But now... (he glances nervously toward the tunnel) something feels off.
**Crew Member 2:** Did you hear that? It sounded like... a growl! **Sunslim:** (shuddering) I did. It must be Oliver... they say he's been transformed into something terrible.
**Crew Member 1:** (eyes wide) We should get out of here; he's not just chasing engines anymore!
**Sunslim:** (determined) No, I need to make it to Vicarstown. I can't just abandon my route.
**Suddenly, Oliver (The Beast) bursts onto the scene, eyes wild and menacing. The crew gasps in horror.**
**Oliver (The Beast):** (roaring) You can't escape me, Sunslim!
**Sunslim:** (panicking) No! Not now! **Crew Member 2:** We need to move! Diversion siding—now!
**Sunslim:** (frantically) Hold on tight, everyone! I'm diverting! **(Sunslim races down the siding but loses control, crashing into a pile of coal. Dust and debris fly everywhere.)**
**Crew Member 1:** (coughing) Are you okay, Sunslim?
**Sunslim:** (groaning) I think... I think I've broken my jaw... **(The passengers, terrified, begin to scatter as Oliver stalks toward them.)**
**Oliver (The Beast):** (sneering) You can't hide from me!
**Crew Member 2:** We have to get the passengers to safety!
**Sunslim:** (struggling) I can't let him hurt anyone! **(Just as Oliver lunges toward Sunslim, intending to finish him off, a loud rumble is heard.)**

**Mutated Gordon:** (speeding past) Out of the way, Beasty!
**Oliver (The Beast):** (growling) No! I'll have my meal! *
*Sunslim:** (watching in shock) Who... what is that?
**Crew Member 1:** It's Gordon, but... he looks different. **Sunslim:** Maybe he can distract Oliver long enough for us to escape!
**Crew Member 2:** (urgently) Let's go! We can't stay here! **(As Oliver chases after Mutated Gordon, Sunslim's crew helps him out of the wreckage.)**
**Sunslim:** (breathing heavily) We've got to stick together. Let's find a safe place to regroup!
**Crew Member 1:** Right behind you, Sunslim! We'll make it through this. **(They hurry away as the sounds of chaos fade behind them.)**
