[Y/n's POV]

As the brunch wound down, and Hyunsik and Tzuyu bid their goodbyes with lingering smiles, Jungkook and I made our way to the parking lot. The sunlight glinted off his Kawasaki like a smug challenge, daring me to take control.

I felt an electric surge of excitement—today was going to be fun. I glanced at Jungkook, who was leaning casually against the bike, arms crossed, lips curling into that arrogant smirk he wore when he thought he had the upper hand.

“So…” I drawled, “you gonna let me drive this thing, or are you too scared to let me handle it?”

He chuckled, running a hand through his hair and giving me a once-over. “Sweetheart, this bike’s got more power than your little legs can handle. It’s not exactly a shopping cart.”

I raised an eyebrow at his blatant underestimation. “Oh really?” I said, narrowing my eyes. “Big talk from someone who probably hasn’t even seen me drive. I can handle more than you think.”

Jungkook snorted and handed me the helmet with a smirk. “Alright, but just remember this: bikes aren’t exactly made for… people like you.”

I gave him a blank stare, then tilted my head. “People like me?”

He chuckled, throwing his leg over the bike, making sure to brush against me just slightly as he settled in behind. “You know, delicate flowers who should probably stick to riding mopeds. Or bicycles. You don’t want to mess up your pretty little head.”

My eyes narrowed. “Delicate flower? Oh, you’re gonna regret that.”

He shrugged, his smirk widening as he fastened his helmet. “We’ll see. Try not to cry when you can’t get it out of first gear.”

“Watch me,” I muttered, sliding on the helmet. I could feel his smugness oozing from behind me. I hopped on the bike, turned the key, and felt the engine rumble to life beneath me, sending a thrill straight up my spine. I gripped the handlebars and twisted the throttle a bit, testing it.

Jungkook leaned in closer behind me, his breath brushing against my neck. “Make sure you buckle up,” he whispered, voice laced with mock seriousness, “wouldn’t want you to fall off. Oh wait, there’s no seatbelt. Guess I’ll just have to hold on really tight, y’know, for safety.”

I rolled my eyes, already fed up with his teasing. “Right, 'safety,' sure.”

His hands slid around my waist as he adjusted himself behind me, pulling me closer to his chest. I could practically hear the grin in his voice.

“Might wanna brace yourself though. I tend to lose control when I’m behind… someone who loves riding.”

I could feel the heat rise in my cheeks, but I wasn’t going to give him the satisfaction of seeing me flustered. “Well, don’t get too comfortable back there, because you’re about to eat your words.”
