Note : I had planned to rewrite the book but every time I tried, something would happen in my life. There always seemed to be one thing or another getting in the way. There are certain parts of the story that I personally feel aren't quite right anymore. For example, some of you might feel that Ivy comes across as a little too desperate in the initial chapters and honestly, I felt the same way when I reread them.

The thing is, those chapters were written by a younger version of me and over the years my perspective and writing style have changed. I can see flaws now that I didn't notice back then. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time or energy to completely rewrite everything and even when I somehow manage to find both, life or the universe always seems to throw something unexpected my way.

I have so many new ideas, plans and scenes that I'm excited to write but constantly going back to rewrite old chapters has made it difficult to move forward. Some of the earlier chapters were already revised but from this point onward, the story will continue in its older version because I simply can't keep making you all wait any longer.

I'm sorry for the delays and I'm sorry for testing your patience. Thank you to everyone who has stayed with Twisted Fates despite everything. It truly means a lot to me. ❤️

Ivy was sitting in her dimly lit dorm room, her laptop open and several documents scattered across the desk. The evening air feels heavy with the weight of the day, and having a sense of worry for Taehyung that what could be the reason taehyung didn't came today.

As she busies herself with her project given by the professor, the silence is broken by a knock at the door. She calls out, "Come in."

The door creaks open, revealing a maid standing politely "Mam, Sir has asked me to inform you that you need to be ready by 8 PM sharp. You'll be accompanying him to his business partner's anniversary party. However, the young master won't be able to join you today."

She nods in understanding "Thank you," she says softly, her mind now racing about the evening ahead. The door closes, leaving her in the quiet room once again. She glances at the clock, noting that she has just under two hours to prepare.

Taking a deep breath, Ivy rises from her desk, pushing aside the papers and projects, her mood shifting as she makes her way to her wardrobe. The event requires elegance, but her thoughts remain elsewhere.

Ivy stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the sleek black dress that hugged her figure elegantly. The gown flowed gracefully down to the floor, the fabric shimmering under the soft light.

The deep V-neckline added a touch of grace, while her bare shoulders were framed by delicate, off-the-shoulder straps. Her long, raven-black hair cascaded in loose waves down her back, a contrast against the dark fabric, and her eyes, lined perfectly , shimmered like the stars outside her window.
