— JHOANNA'S POV —

I heard the door open, I forgot to lock it. Inuna ko kasi muna yung landi! I quickly put Stacey behind my back to protect her from any harm.

Stacey's Mom : Stacey! Her mom called.

I sighed in relief as I let go of her.

Stacey : Mom? Bakit ka nandito? She approached her mom.

I quickly noticed the meal burning up. So I decided to take charge and cook while they were talking. I don't want to burn the house down.

— STACEY'S POV —

Stacey's Mom : My daughter! I just wanted to check up on you. My mom said as she hugged me.

Stacey : Mom, hindi na'ko bata! I rolled my eyes.

Stacey's Mom : Oh, kamusta kayo ni Jhoanna? My mom asked with a smile.

Stacey : Ah, nga pala. Kami na po ni Jhoanna. I said shyly.

Stacey's Mom : Oh anak.. Are you ready na ba na magka-same sex relationship? Hindi naman sa pinagbabawal kita, pero are you healed na from Mikha? She asked as her smile fades away.

Stacey : Opo Ma, pero Jhoanna is different. She's a gentlewoman. I smiled.

Stacey's Mom : Mkay, can I greet my daughter in law? She asked before smiling.

We approached Jhoanna in the kitchen. She was cooking the meal I was cooking. She was wearing a messy apron indicating she was having trouble cooking.

Stacey's Mom : Jhoannaaa! Long time no see anak! I'm happy to know na kayo na ni Stacey. She hugged Jhoanna.

Jhoanna turns off the stove before hugging my mother.

Jhoanna : Oh tita! Extra pretty today ah, kasing ganda niyo po anak niyo! Kamusta po? Jhoanna said in a cute tone.

Stacey's Mom : Aba! Bolera! Alagaan mo ng mabuti ang anak ko ah. Nasayo ang tiwala ko. Wag kang tutulad kay Mikha. Umaasa ako na itratrato mo ng maayos ang anak ko. My mother said in a soft tone.

Jhoanna : Ma'am yes Ma'am. She saluted.

We chuckled at her salute. Since me and Jhoanna already made dinner, why don't we invite my mom for dinner?

Stacey : Ma, kain po kayo. Nagluto po kami ng sinigang. I invited her.

Stacey's Mom : Oh sure anak. Let's dig in! Mukhang masarap ah! My mom said joyfully.

Jhoanna : Syempre po! Luto po namin yan eh. Jhoanna said arrogantly.

We chuckled it off. We were laughing while eating, telling stories to each other, it was a whole lot of fun.

Stacey's Mom : Oh, remember anak where you didn't want to get a bodyguard? Para kang bata non samin ng papa mo na umiiyak dahil ayaw mo ng bodyguard dahil sa quote on quote privacy mo. She laughed.

Stacey : Ma, don't remind me. I rolled my eyes.

Jhoanna : She laughs. Oh tita, I remember that.

Stacey's Mom : Oh sige na, may meeting pa'ko sa company. My mom kissed me on the cheeks.

Stacey : Sige po mom, ingat! I smiled.
