The Foodie Cyclist

Chapter 4

The sun shined its beautiful rays as it slapped Y/n on the face making her groaned. She turned off her alarm and stood up from her bed as she went to her bathroom and did her daily morning routine still half awake since she had to work late, but was grateful that Dom left one of his henchmen to drive me home.

She got out of the bathroom after wearing her brown contact lenses and changed into  her school's white dress shirt as she wore a jacket that her mother bought her last year in Christmas as well as some sweatpants. She went to her kitchen and just ate some cereal. After she was done she washed her dishes and checked the fridge..which only had a can of tomato sauce.

"Did someone rob my fridge?"
(She ate everything)

Y/n said sighing mentally taking a note to buy some groceries later, good thing her boss paid her last night. She got her backpack and wore her shoes as she took her bike outside her garage and locked her house up. She rode down the downhill deciding to just drift on the sharp turn since she was going to be three minutes late if she didn't speed up.

She arrived at Helmeoni's bakery placing her Bike inside as she greeted her again.

"Good morning Helmeoni!"

"Ah! Y/n! How are you?"

"I'm good I'm heading to school today!"

Y/n said as the elderly lady leaned on her counter as she smiled at the young girl. Y/n was about to leave before remembering something and turned back.

"Helmeoni..I..I might not be able to leave my Bike here someday, since I want to bring my Bike to school.. but I promise to come here after school!"

Y/n said looking at the elderly lady sadly while the woman just hummed a bit surprised and sad but understood.

"It's alright dear. But you better visit me after school okay?"

Y/n smiled a little and nodded as she hugged the elderly woman who hugged her back like she was her grandchild. They broke the hug and Y/n said her good bye's and went to School with a smile.

Y/n sat on her seat as break time started. She looked around the classroom before spotting Jay drawing something in his notebook. He looked really beaten up from yesterday but it's a good thing he was patched up right. She watched as Mia placed a patch on his desk a small blush on her cheeks.

"T-This is for your cut."

"I didn't ask you to get me anything like this."

Jay said nonchalantly, looking away from her till Yuna slammed her hand in his desk angrily.

"What?! "Like this"?? Hey!! Jay When a girl shows interest in you, the polite thing to do is say thank you!!"

Yuna said annoyed as she looked at Jay sternly.

"Since she saw your cut this morning, Mia's been so worried about you. She even ran over to the pharmacy.."

Yuna said making Mia flinch and cover Yuna's mouth quickly her blush growing in embarrassment.

"Yuna!!"

"Hey~! Bro~!!"

Dom said harshly smacking Jay's back making Y/n hiss almost feeling the pain. The four students continued talking as Dom questioned if he Jay slept early last night which confused Y/n and the two girls as they also questioned how they got so close all of a sudden, Dom saying that they bonded over a computer screen which weried Y/n out. Her attention was cought when a student spoke.

"Jay! A third-year wants you to go out to the hallway!"

The student said before walking off as Jay stood up from his seat and walked out of the classroom.
