"Holy shit - it worked." Logan stumbled up from the bed, stunned.

Knock knock. "Mr. Howlett?"

Nina's voice. "Nina?" he called back.

"Yes, it's me-" The door swung open and in she came looking identical to the one he had just left behind, only outfitted in '70s attire, including, of course, purple gogo boots.

She took one look at him and paled. "Oh my God-" And backed out of the door, slamming it closed.

Oh yeah - he was totally naked.

"What, you never seen a naked man before?" he called, slipping on his jeans.

"Just put on your clothes, please!" A few moments later she called, "Are you decent?"

"That depends on what you mean by 'decent'."

"Trousers?"

"Yup."

Only now did she come back inside, or well fully inside now since she hadn't made it that far the fist time. She moved cautiously almost, as if she thought he might be lying. Her eyes lingered on his bare chest and he preened a little, before she snapped her gaze up to his face. "So it was a successful trip, then."

"So far, yeah."

Suddenly, another door within the room opened, making them both jump - they weren't alone, someone else was here. It led to a bathroom by the looks of it, coming out of which was a young woman in a slip and nothing else. She appeared startled too. "Jimmy? What's going on? Who's this?"

Judging by her facial expression, Nina had now put together what he had been doing, or rather his younger self - the messy bed, his lack of attire, the girl. She heaved a sigh, appearing like she would rather be anywhere but here. "You get yourself sorted - quickly would be preferable - and I'll meet you out front." She moved to leave the room once more, only now that door swung open and three men in suits strode in, blocking the way.

"Hey, what's going on?" Logan asked. "Who are you? I don't know what's going on-"

"What's going on is you're supposed to be watching the boss's daughter, not screwing her," the lead man barked.

"Oh I didn't sleep with her."

"No?"

"No. I mean, yes, I've slept with her many times-"

"Lovely," sighed Nina.

"Jimmy!" cried the girl in question.

"-But that wasn't me, that was the old me. I just got here like a minute ago."

"Really?"

"Yeah. She can vouch for me." He pointed to Nina who did not appear pleased at being thus voluntold.

But the guy wasn't buying any of it. "And what happened to your clothes?"

"My - oh. Would you believe me if I said I was sent here from the future?"

Nina face-palmed. This was ridiculous.

The guy scoffed. "Get outta here, Sweetheart. We're gonna take care of this comedian."

The girl grabbed her clothes and hurried out of the room.

"No you're not. You're gonna give me the keys to your car and some money for gas or you're going to wake up in the hospital-"

But the guy was looking at Nina. "You too, Sweetie."

"No, that is enough mindless chatter. Is that your power?" she sneered at Logan. "That, or seduction? This is getting us nowhere."
