THE OUTSIDE OF THE WOODSBORO POLICE STATION WAS SWARMED WITH DIFFERENT NEWS STATIONS, ALL OF THEM TRYING TO BE THE FIRST TO HEAR THE EXCLUSIVE DETAILS OF THE KILLER HAVING NOT ONLY STRIKING AGAIN, BUT HAVING POTENTIALLY BEEN ARRESTED.

Making it difficult for the Riley siblings, Sidney and Kitty to leave. So, Dewey snuck them out of the back exit, only for Gale Weathers to hound them. Leading to Sidney punching her right in the face after Gale insinuated that Maureen Prescott wasn't the innocent victim everyone suggested she was, causing Dewey to usher the three teenage girls away, taking them back to the Riley household.

Kitty was sat at the end of Tatum's bed. She was wearing a long t-shirt that the blonde gave her to sleep in. Her legs were crossed and her fingers absent mindlessly stroking the edge of the bandage that covered her forearm.

"God, I loved it," Tatum grinned, toying with a stuffed bear, "'I'll send you a copy'. Bam! Bitch went down," She sat up on the same bed Kitty was also occupying, "'I'll send you a copy'. Bam!" She punched the stuffed toy, just like Sidney had done to Gale Weathers, "Sid, super bitch. You are so cool."

Dewey came in, trying to hide his grin when he heard what his sister was talking about. He passed Sidney an ice pack for her knuckles before letting the three girls know that he would be right next door if they needed anything. Giving Kitty a sympathetic smile before he turned around and left the room.

A silence enveloped Tatum's bedroom. With Sidney lying down on the other bed and Kitty wordlessly looking down at her lap. Still looking distressed at the fact her brother was arrested and accused of the murders. Tatum reached over to squeeze her bare knee, trying to sent her a small smile. But what else can one do when their best friend's brother was accused of murder?

A soft knock came on the ajar door. Mrs. Riley peeked her head inside. She smiled at the girls before her eyes landed on Kitty, "There's a call for you."

Kitty furrowed her brows, "For me?"

Mrs. Riley nodded, "He said he's your boyfriend."

Kitty grinned and jumped off the bed, following Mrs. Riley over to where the phone was on a small desk at the end of the hallway downstairs. The older woman gave her a sympathetic smile, squeezing her shoulder lightly before leaving to go into the kitchen, giving Kitty privacy to speak on the phone.

"Hello?" She said into the phone.

"Hi, baby," Stu's voice said on the other end of the line.

Kitty grinned. She twirled the phone cord around her finger, "Hi," She said, sneakily glancing over her shoulder to see where Mrs. Riley was, but she couldn't spot the woman anywhere. Although she could hear her humming softly in the kitchen and the sound of pots and pans clanking as she washed them.

"I heard about the attack, are you okay?"

Kitty nodded although she knew he couldn't see her, "I'm fine. It was barely a scratch."

"Are you sure?" Stu asked, his voice filled with guilt.

"I promise I'm okay," She said truthfully.

And she truly was okay. The knife had only just cut her. Missing any arteries. And the hit to the back of the head wasn't even true. With Ghostface having punched the floor at the same time he made the motion of slamming Kitty's head against it. Giving the illusion of her skull contacting with the surface to Sidney, who from where she stood, couldn't see it clearly.

She heard Stu letting out a sigh of relief, "I'm so glad to hear that," He told her. His shoulders relaxing at the news. Having been scared that somehow she had actually been really hurt in the attack, "I gotta go. Do some...things..." She could practically hear the smirk he held on his face, "...I'll see you tomorrow. I love you."

Kitty smirked, knowing exactly what he meant by 'things'.

She could also feel her heart flutter in her chest. Despite having been together for almost two years now, the pair were still just as infatuated with each other as they were back then, "I love you too," She said, making a dramatic 'mwah' noise and hearing Stu laughing before he copied her and the two hung up.

She placed the phone down and turned around. Walking away from it. She glanced over in the kitchen at the same time Mrs. Riley looked over at her. The two smiling warmly at one another before the phone rang again. Kitty furrowed her brows but turned around to grab it, being closest to it.

"Stu, is that you?" She asked into the receiver, feeling Mrs. Riley standing at the threshold of the kitchen.

"Who is this Stu? I'm calling for Sidney Prescott," Ghostface's voice said on the other end.

Kitty kept her face straight, "One second," She responded. She placed the receiver down on the table and turned around, "It's for Sidney," She told Mrs. Riley, "I think it might be her dad," She added with a shrug before going up the stairs to fetch her friend.

When she reached Tatum's bedroom, both her and Sidney stopped talking almost the second Kitty stepped foot inside. She rolled her eyes. Knowing very well what they must have been talking about.

"Was it Stu?" Tatum asked, changing the topic quickly.

Kitty nodded, "It was. And someone now called for you, Sid," She added, turning her attention to the brunette, "I think it could have been your dad? I'm not sure."

Sidney grinned and hopped off the bed, going downstairs to answer the phone call she had been waiting the entire day to receive. Only to be sorely disappointed when the voice on the other end of the line didn't belong to her father.

Kitty jumped down on Tatum's bed, but it wasn't long before the two girls were running down the stairs after hearing Sidney's distressed yells. Mrs. Riley was calling out for Dewey when Tatum and Kitty arrived downstairs. Whilst Sidney was standing frozen in front of the phone. The receiver up to her ear.

Her eyes glazed over with tears.

Her body shaking.

Kitty rushed to her side, with Tatum going to stand on the other side of her, keeping Sidney in the middle as they tried to figure out what was going on.

"Leave me alone!" She exclaimed into the phone yet again. Rubbing the back of her neck.

"Looks like you fingered the wrong guy," Ghostface's muffled voice was heard by both Kitty and Tatum, "Again."

"Who are you?" Sidney asked.

"Sid..." Tatum whispered, rubbing Sidney's shoulder comfortingly.

"Don't worry, you'll find out soon enough, I promise," Ghostface said before the line went dead.

Sidney moved the receiver away from her ear. Sniffling and shaking her head. Her face pale.

"What?" Dewey asked, running over in just some boxer shirts and a white t-shirt, a gun in his hand. He glanced in the kitchen, as if expecting to see the attacker in the house.

Sidney shook her head and ran off, running towards the living room with Kitty, Tatum and Mrs. Riley following after her, trying to figure out what was going on.

Dewey stood there looking confused. Before he walked over to the phone and placed the receiver up to his ear, "Hello?" He asked into it, but when he got no response, he placed it down and rushed into the living room.
