Chapter 9

Sarang's pov:

"Ah fuck..." he dropped the hockey stick and raised his hands. Two policemen cuffed him and dragged him out of the room.

I laid on the floor with my eyes barely opened, still wincing in pain, until I heard someone calling me "Ryu Sarang!" I looked up and it was Jeemin. She ran towards me, untying the rope on my hands and feet. Her presence itself gave me so much warmth and assurance that the pain on my body wasn't even hurting anymore. "Are you okay? Let's go to the hospital." the black haired girl looked at me with worry. After the whole ordeal, a wave of adrenaline surged through me, and I broke down in tears. Giving Jeemin the tightest hug, I put my chin on her shoulder and whimpered "I missed you..."

"It's okay, I'm here. I won't let anyone hurt you anymore. Everything will be fine." Assuring me with her soothing voice. "You did so well. You didn't give up and stayed strong. I'm so proud of my Sarang-ie." She praised me while stroking my head. I could stay like this forever, the comfort and assurance Jeemin's existence gave off has never felt this nice.

"Let's bring you to the hospital alright?" Jeemin carried me on her back and brought me out.

A Week Later...

Third person pov: 

Sarang has been discharged from the hospital and went back to school. Jeemin, Jiyoon and Koko saw the brunette girl at her seat and ran towards her as if they haven't seen each other in years. They were assured that she looked a lot better compared to that day. 

"Yah Ryu Sarang, how did that happen?" The three gathered around her to hear the full story. Sarang glanced at them and sheepishly said "Nothing much, you guys don't have to know." "We're not letting you go until you tell us." Jiyoon threatened. Sarang looked a bit hesitant on sharing, knowing all of them would start scolding her after telling them about the photos she received. "Well..."

"You received those photos and you didn't tell anyone? What were you thinking!" Jeemin slapped Sarang's arm to shake some sense into her. 

Sarang timidly replied, "I didn't know what to do okay?" 

"Didn't know what to do? You called me and I even asked if everything was okay. You lied to me!" Jeemin slapped her arm again.

"Ow stop hitting me, I already got hit by that guy so many times. Give me a break Jeemin ah." Sarang pleaded.

Koko patted Jeemin's shoulder to calm her down. "Aigoo are you her mum or something? Relax gurl, she's fine now and that's all that matters."

"Yea at least she's fine now. That guy should go to hell, how dare he do such perverted things to our Sarang." Jiyoon grumbled. 

Jeemin still glared at Sarang with her arms crossed. "You cheeky girl, always making me so worried."

"Ooo does that mean I'm on your mind 24/7? HAHAHA okay sorry I'm kidding" 

Jeemin's eyes widened, at a loss for words. "You- you still can joke about this? Oh you're so dead." She started poking Sarang's waist left and right, making Sarang giggle while she defended herself.

Jeemin's pov: 

"Come, let's go to my room. My parents brought Jiyoon and Jungeun to my grandparents' house, so they won't be coming home today." I pulled Sarang with me. We decided to finish up the remaining parts of the pair project since the deadline was soon. I prepared my materials before Sarang came so I was just waiting for her to get ready her things. Wanting to tell her a secret, I went towards her ear but as I got closer, she flinched away. "O-oh sorry, I-I got a bit traumatised from t-that day..." Sarang awkwardly admitted and continued unpacking her stuff.

Observing the dimple girl unpacking, I thought to myself "What could that jerk have done to her, to make her flinch like that?" While Sarang was taking out her notes, I took the chance to ask her about what exactly happened when she was kidnapped. "Hey, what did that guy do to you when you were held captive, other than hitting you? If you don't mind me asking."

Sarang put down her notes and turned to me. "Wa... Let me tell you all about it."
