The silence that followed was very suffocating as everyone watched in disbelief as Lei Jun was flung away, destroying several buildings before he stopped.

Lei Jun was also in disbelief, partially because of Yan jian's unbelievable strength and mainly because his dantian had been completely destroyed by Yan jian's powerful energy! His cultivation was crippled!

Lei Jun felt like the world was spinning before him. He watched in shock as his inner energy which he had cultivated for half of his life flow out of his body.
"No! No no! This can't be true. Yes, this is all a bad dream. I will wake up anytime now." He tried to convince himself that this wasn't true. Unfortunately, he knew deep in his heart that all of this was no dream. It was all happening.

"Father!" Lei Hao finally snapped out of his shock and shouted, his entire figure shivering in fear.

But his father didn't seem to have heard him as he continued speaking to himself.

Then, Lei Jun suddenly raised his head and glared at Yan jian with his blood red eyes.
"You dare to cripple my cultivation!"

"What? Don't speak like you are a kind soul yourself. How many people have you slaughtered without mercy? The Li clan, the Song clan? How many Innocents have you killed? And you must have crippled quite a handful of people too. They felt the same pain and rage you are feeling now, the same grievances!" Yan jian snorted in reply.

"All those people's lives are incomparable to mine! I am a direct descendant of the Lei clan. I was destined to be above them all! This isn't over between you and the Lei clan! This is just a branch clan. The main clan will definitely avenge us all! Just you wait!" Lei Jun replied with a tone brimming with ferocity. He had already accepted his fate, knowing very well that he would not be able to live after this, and the Lei clan would also follow after him shortly. But so what? The main clan will definitely not let this slide.

Yan jian laughed.

"Yan jian, take care of the Lei clan. I don't want the Lei clan to exist in this city again. We'll deal with the main clan before we leave for Gan Yu city.

Yan jian nodded, grabbed Lei Jun by his collar and left the Xuan clan's Mansion, leaving Lei Hao and the other Lei clan elders who had come along with Lei Jun to watch a show.
They did watch the show, but it wasn't the one they expect to see.

Long Feng turned to Lei Hao who was still looking shocked at the series of events that just occurred.

Sensing Long Feng's gaze on him, Lei Hao shivered and instantly fell to his knees.
