Smut warning:
"The library, are you serious?" Sam said disapprovingly as they entered the doors of the old derelict building. "I could have easily just gone to my parents if I needed a place to hide out."
"Yes, but mammy would not have been able to help you save Melissa from the spirit," Judith replied with sarcasm.
Sam panned around the room, ignoring the elderly lady at the counter, "And books will?" He asked after resting his eyes back on Judith.
"I would like you to meet someone," Judith replied simply and walked over to the desk. "Good morning, Sheridan. This is Sam Fitzpatrick, the current resident."
"Nice to meet you, ma'am," Sam gave a moment of politeness before showing Judith his frustration again.
"Like wise, Mr Fitzpatrick," Sheridan replied smoothly. "I see the plan is going well Judith. You look a little flustered."
"Swimmingly, Sheridan," Judith replied sarcastically.
"Sorry, who are you exactly?" Sam addressed Sheridan.
"A previous tenant," the older woman replied.
"Of course," Sam muttered under his own breath.
Sheridan ignored him. "Did you learn anything, Judith?"
"Sam's wife seems reluctant to want to let Julie move on. I fear she may be an obstacle."
"Nonsense," replied Sam. "If there's a ghost in that house, Mel would want to see it gone too."
"You saw what Mel was up to. It's why we're here to begin with." Judith ushered Sam to follow her to a sofa in order to sit. Sheridan made coffees and brought them over to the seating area.
"Thank you," Sam accepted his coffee. "I don't know what's going on but I do not believe there is actually a ghost in that house."
Judith sighed heavily, "Sam, please believe me, there is a spirit. How else would you explain what you just witnessed in the room with the glass being thrown?"
"I..." Sam did not know what words to say.
Judith continued, "She has attached herself to Melissa. We need to find a way to separate that connection and free your wife from the spirit."
Judith understood her actions were more than a little self-centred; she wanted Julie back, but she could tell Sam and Mel also needed her help to get their marriage back on track. Sam just needed to accept the truth in order to fight for his wife.
"What do you propose then?" Sam asked.
"If I may," Sheridan spoke up. "If the plan is to still help Julie pass on I may have something that will help severe her connection to this world."
"Oh. What is it? Asked Judith puzzled. Sheridan's previous weapon was a sure fire hit that failed. "Of course the main goal is to help Julie crossover, but I am only doing that if it's what she really wants. We have to consider that she may not want to "
"Hmm," the librarian was doubtful. "We must do what is best for the spirit, Judith. Do not let your personal feelings distract you from the goal."
"Excuse me!" Sam croaked. "I do not know what's going on here but can you please show us what it is you have to save Mel from this demon?"
Judith shot Sam a scowl at the name he gave Jersey.
"Yes, certainly, young man. Guys, I would like you to meet someone." Sheridan left the seating area and walked towards the office.
"Better not be another Neville," Judith groaned under her breath.

"Let's have sex," Melissa spoke to the room. She could not currently see Julie but she always knew the spirit would be nearby. It had been several hours since her husband left the house and Mel needed a distraction from the bad thoughts swirling in her mind.
Julie did not respond and after several long seconds passed, Mel turned her request into a loud, frustrated call. "We should have sex. Julie, I want to have sex."
Still no response. Feeling frustrated, Mel decided to look for Julie and she searched every room of the house. Still nothing. Mel stopped in the middle of the floor in her bedroom and groaned in annoyance.
"Where are you, cutie? I know you can't leave this house. I need you." Mel collapsed onto the bed. Her skirt ruffled upwards as she landed and she placed her hand on her thigh. She brushed her hand slowly up her inner thigh to her dampening underwear.
"I'm touching myself. I know you are watching, pervert," Mel said lustfully as she began rubbing herself playfully.
It was true, Julie was stood in the corner watching Mel, but for the first time she was not desiring to touch the living woman. She remained unseen, only watching.
Mel slipped her underwear off and searched her bottom drawer for her favourite rabbit toy. "I wish you were here to join me, Julie. Ahhh," she slid her vibrator inside herself. "Oooh, or do you prefer, Jersey?"
This caught Julie by surprise. She continued to watch Mel with uneasiness.
"Touch me, Jersey. Make me come for you." Mel kept a slow rhythm of her rabbit as she continued playing with herself. "Hmmm, yes... Fuck me, Jersey! Use my body."
With great discomfort, Julie continued to observe the woman on the bed pleasuring herself while calling out for her, the spirit. Julie, deciding she had seen enough, silently left the room.
Mel continued to pleasure herself and Julie listened to the cries of pleasure as she made her way down the stairs. Any other time she would have been more than happy to take that toy away from Mel and fuck her herself. However, her pull towards Judith was growing stronger and she felt less inclined to satisfy Mel's lust the more Judith invaded her thoughts.
Wanting to avoid human contact for the time being, Julie decided to stand in her usual spot just outside the front door to watch the world she was no longer a part of pass by.
Her gaze froze when she caught sight of an unexpected shock. Across the road through the window of his own home, the aging Mr Cole who was a young man during Julie's time, was staring deep into her eyes with a recognisable stare. Julie could feel that he was not scared but somewhat relieved to see his old neighbour was still in the house.
This left Julie wondering why more people could now see her. What else was changing?
