The stadium is still roaring with excitement after India's thrilling win against pakistan.....fireworks light up the night sky as the players embrace each other.. soaking in the magnitude of the moment....The commentators announce that the captain of the Indian team... MS Dhoni is coming up for the post-match presentation...
Presenter : Ladies and gentlemen, we have witnessed a historic match today !! India has won the inaugural T20 World Cup and I now invite the captain of the Indian team..... MS Dhoni to share his thoughts with us
Mahi...looking calm yet satisfied...walks up to the stage....the crowd cheers loudly... chanting his name....
Presenter : Dhoni, congratulations on this incredible win...! your leadership has been commendable throughout the tournament but today... something special happened.... your former captain...Sourav ganguly.... made a surprise visit to support you and the team....how did it feel to see your dada back in the stands during such a crucial match...?!
Mahi smiles warmly.... glancing over to the stands where dada is seated...watching him proudly...
Mahi : (confidently) It was a special moment....dada has always been someone we look up to.... not just as a player but as a leader....having him here today, supporting us, gave us that extra boost....when I saw him in the stands.... it felt like he was back on the field with us....guiding us through....it means a lot to all of us... especially for players like bhaju pa , yuvi and me.... who started under his captaincy....we owe a lot to dada for shaping Indian cricket into what it is today....
Dada in the stands....smiling ear to ear...visibly proud of "his kiddo" he gives a small wave as the crowd cheers again......
Presenter : (laughing) it sounds like you had an extra captain with you today...! and this victory... what does it mean to you as your first final as a captain...?!
Mahi : (thoughtfully) it’s an unbelievable feeling...leading this team.... which is full of talent and experience is a privilege....today it wasn’t just about one or two players.... everyone contributed....rohit, yuvi, gautam... everyone stepped up....winning the world cup in my first final as captain... it’s surreal....i just want to thank my team for their hard work and of course.... our fans who supported us throughout.....
Mahi walks off the stage....makes his way toward the team... where dada is waiting with a proud grin on his face....dada spreads his arms wide....ready for a warm embrace....
Dada : (smiling broadly) mahi.....yeh mere liye bohot proud moment...hai !
Mahi..grinning... hugs dada tightly....it's not just a gesture of respect...but of deep affection....mahi’s demeanor is calmer now... the weight of the match lifting off his shoulders as he shares the moment with the man who has always inspired him....
Mahi : (modestly) dada...hum sab aapke he footsteps pe chal rahe hain...aapka banaya raasta hi aaj hume yahan tak laya hai...
Dada...shaking his head..steps back and looks mahi in the eye with a mix of pride and admiration....
