One by one, most of the team headed home to spend some quality time with their families. Now, it was just dada, jammy bhai, sachin pa, yuvi, mahi and rohit left at the hotel.
Now...mahi and sakshi were messaging each other regularly, just casual conversations - but no one had the slightest idea why mahi was spending so much time on his phone...It was unusual...he’d typically be reading, chatting with the guys or playing video games....his teammates were a bit surprised, since seeing mahi on his phone was such a rare sight....but ever since he came back from the reunion party, he seemed to spend more and more time absorbed in his phone....
The hotel lounge...where mahi, yuvi, rohit, dada, jammy bhai and sachin pa are relaxing together....yuvi, with his usual mischievous grin, has been eyeing mahi’s recent obsession with his phone....
Yuvi : (leaning toward mahi with a smirk) mahi... kya baat hai… aaj kal phone se jaan hi nahi chhod rahe ho....hum sabko ignore karne lage ho...
Mahi : (rolling his eyes) kuch nahi, bas aise hi...time pass....
Yuvi : (raising an eyebrow) tum aur time pass !? Tum kaab se phone mein time pass karne lage !!?
Sachin pa : (smiling) aur haan...time pass ke liye toh tumhare paas kitne video games hai, mahi....phir ye phone wala craze kyun...?!
Yuvi : (grinning wider) kuch toh hai...paaji… waise bhi...mahi aur phone...that’s like a rare sight....mujhe lagta hai kisi se chat-vat chal rahi hai...
Mahi : (giving yuvi a look) tumhare paas aur koi kaam nahi hai kya...yuvi ?!
Dada : (joining in, teasingly) Arre...chhodo na mahi....ab tumhe humare saath baith ke time pass nahi karna, woh humne notice kar liya hai...!!!
Jammy bhai : (grinning) Dadi... tumhein yaad hai woh din jab tum bhi phone mein ghuse rehte the ?!
Dada : (feigning innocence) han haan...jam...lekin tab toh main team ka captain tha....thoda busy rehta tha team k kam se ..
Yuvi : (snickering) aur aaj kal mahi bhi captain hai… bas fark yeh hai, ki woh team ke kam mein nahi… kisi aur ke saath busy hai...!!
Rohit : (laughing) ye sab kya ho raha hai !? lagta hai yuvi pa ko kuch secret pata chal gaya hai...
Mahi : (sighing) bas yuvi ke dimaag mein khayali pulav hain…..tum sab bhi iske saath mil gaye ho...!
Sachin pa: (with a chuckle) accha mahi, ab hume bhi toh bata do….kaun hai jo phone pe tumhara itna time le raha hai...?!
Yuvi : (with grin) ya time le RAHI hai ??
Mahi: (smiling but defensive) arre kuch bhi nahi...aap log kuch bhi soch rahe ho...
Jammy bhai: (patting dada on the shoulder)...waise dadi...mujhe lagta hai hume mahi ko thoda space dena chahiye…..yuvi ke torture se bachane ke liye....
Dada : (grinning) nahi jammy, yeh torture nahi....yeh toh hamare mahi bhai ke liye pyaar hai....thoda mazak toh banta hai....
Yuvi : (winking at mahi) woh toh hai....(in dramatic way) Mera pyaar mahi k liye kabhi kam nhi hoga....(Holding mahi's hand)
They all laugh as mahi tries to brush it off, enjoying the friendly teasing but still hiding a slight smile.
Next morning 🌄
The team is gathered in the lobby...seeing off rohit, who’s heading home to spend time with his family....
Rohit : (smiling) it’s been awesome hanging out with you all...!!
