The following day, they set off on a journey to gather information from both magical and demigod sources. Their first stop was the Ministry of Magic, where they sought out Hermione’s former professors for insights.

“Something is definitely off,” Professor McGonagall said, her voice laced with worry. “The magical creatures in the Forbidden Forest have been acting strangely, as if they sense a threat.”

“Exactly,” Hermione replied. “We need to investigate. There might be more at play here than we realize.”

Meanwhile, Percy suggested they consult with Poseidon, hoping his father could provide insight into any disturbances in the ocean. “If the balance is off, the sea will feel it.”

After gathering as much information as they could, they ventured to the shores of the Atlantic, standing on the rocky cliffs where the waves crashed below.

“Poseidon!” Percy called, his voice echoing against the wind.

Moments later, the water began to swirl, and from the depths emerged a figure clad in shimmering blue—a formidable presence with an aura of authority.

“What troubles you, my son?” Poseidon’s voice resonated like thunder.

“Father, there’s unrest between our worlds. Strange occurrences—magical disturbances—are happening, and we need to know if it’s connected to the Tytalus.”

Poseidon’s brow furrowed. “The Tytalus was but a symptom of a deeper imbalance. Something ancient stirs in the depths, and it seeks to reclaim what was lost.”

“What do we do?” Annabeth asked, her voice steady despite the gravity of the situation.

“You must gather allies,” Poseidon instructed. “Seek out those who possess knowledge of the old ways. Only together can you face what is coming.”
