Jamie's phone rang and Amril saw Jamie coming towards him. He scrunched his eyebrows in a questioning way. Jamie brought the phone to him and gave it. Amril took the phone and was a tiny bit shocked to see the caller Id. He then remembered that while speaking to Nicca his battery was already near empty.
"Yeah sweetie. I was just,"
"Ril... RIL, I came to the narrow alley and a group of men are chasing me. Ril they keep following me I ran and am hiding behind the giant maple tree in the town. Ril please... haaah...haaaa... come soon...pleaseee." Tia was sobbing so hard but it was muffled as if she was trying to hold back the noise coming out.
"Tia, don't cut the call. Stay on the line. I'll be there. Try to avoid making any noises till I get there. Baby, I'll be there. I'll come to you" , Amril said on the call while collecting his phone and keys in a rush. He ran to his car and sat on it and plugged his phone in the USB port to charge still on the call with Tia in Jamie's phone. Jamie sat on the car too with Ril, questioning him about the situation.
There is only one maple tree in Andromeda. It is easy to spot but Ril was not fearing only that. He had to make sure she is safe and unscathed. He made a call to Nicca as soon as his phone was ready to use after placing Jamie's phone on Jamie's hand signalling him to speak in due time.
"Nicca, I need your help. Just shut up and listen. Tia is stuck near Maple tree. I want you to alert any officials in that area to keep her safe if they see her until I reach. I know you have her photo from the day of the proposal, so use that pic to send to them. Any doubts?" Ril spoke in a tone which can only be awakened
"umm... no. I'll see to it. You call me once you find her."
"Tia... Tia. I'll be with you soon. Just please stay safe until then.
"Tia... Tia. I'll be with you soon. Just please stay safe until then. I know I'm speaking stupid but baby, please ... just hang on" he spoke without a second gap and Jamie could feel his restlessness. Ril wanted to find Tia and embrace her right now. It was as clear as a crow in daylight.
After 20 minutes
Amril stomped on the break as soon as he reached the tree. His eyes was on a race to find her. He looked every corner for her trace.
Ril opened the door and came out of the car. His eyes were red and clouded with tears. Hands shaking. His veins popping out of his hands and temple. He ran towards the tree with phone in his hands.
She was there. She was sitting under the tree crouched with hands holding legs and rocking back and front. Her hair dishevelled and her shirt a bit torn and a few drops of blood sliding her shoulders. He ran to her and engulfed her in a tight hug.
