Ril opened the door and came out of the car. His eyes were red and clouded with tears. Hands shaking. His veins popping out of his hands and temple. He ran towards the tree with phone in his hands.
She was there. She was sitting under the tree crouched with hands holding legs and rocking back and front. Her hair disheveled and her shirt a bit torn and a few drops of blood sliding her shoulders. He ran to her and engulfed her in a tight hug.
"Hey... hey hey... Tia, sweetheart, you are all right. I am here now. You're fine. I won't let anyone near you. You are completely fine. Shhhh... shhhh... take a deep breath. I'm here. I'm here now. I won't leave you. Its gonna be okay. Shhh..." Amril tried to comfort Tia who was bawling her eyes out hugging him.
"I'm really glad that she is alright, but don't you think he's saying those to him to reassure himself rather than to comfort her" Jamie said to Nicca who was standing far and watching them by leaning on his car.
"He was this close to losing her to a darkness that might consume her. You cannot blame him. After all, it is a nightmare to see your most treasured person go through something that painful. A day without having a conversation with them is painful; imagine what he must have gone through while riding all the way thinking of her state. The pain of seeing your loved ones go through hell while all you can do is watch is so bad, that words are not made to express those pains.
And you, go and find what really happened and who did it. I still need to find what was beneath the house" , Nicca said to Jamie.
Nicca walked towards them and sat on his knees. He rubbed her head a bit in a consoling way.
"Hey, its okay. Your Iron man is here. He will give you his last suit to save you if anything ever happens.
And you, take her home and enjoy the day. I'll see to the case. I'll update you tomorrow about today's finds." Nicca said to Tia.
"mm.. No... its...fine. Take him. I... I am... Okay" Tia mumbled to them.
"Tia... I respect my position. It is a very great honor for me to be in such a position.
But I'm not one among those, who believe their work is more important than the person they love. You come first and last of my list of things, which I want to protect with my life. My life and soul is dedicated to our relationship Tia. If I leave you now and go to continue some work, then... its not me. I'll be with you not only to reassure you, but to also reassure myself that my love is safe, Amril said to her and his eyes held a determination which Tia have never seen.
She felt Goosebumps all over her body. Her eyes were filled with tears indicating that it might fall for his words anytime...she hugged him.

"Are you sure about that. you don't want to identify those who followed you?" Nicca said.
