-You are emotionally dormant. More like you can never cry for anything. Answer my question. Do you ever miss people? Like, I know your grandpa passed away right? You cried for that? On any occasion at this point of your life have you cried other than when your ego got shattered? I saw your eyes got wet when he raised his voice in front of you. Understand this... you can possibly never be an normal human. Crying is far, you will not even understand the pain your close ones go through. You are like a non-living thing. It is useless for you to even come to me for help anymore. I am saying this not as your Psychiatrist, but as a friend who have known you for a decade.

I saw you that day. How you looked at him. You looked like a cold blooded person. Remorse or pity or sad is far, you could not even pretend to console them. You looked unbothered by whatever is happening around you. I for a second felt like, I do not even know you... -

AMRIL POV

"We have to find the killer before there is a third victim," I said.

"Sir, don't you think, saying killer every time is boring?" Jamie told with an 'I have an idea' look on his face.

I turned my head towards Jamie. I was almost done with him.

"You got any good names for our unknown killer Mr. Jamie?" I asked him.

"How about this sir? We have to find this unknown killer whom we don't know yet. Usually we address something we do not know as X In math right! So how about this, our unknown killer, Xiller."

The whole team looked at each other's faces. We felt stupid to even think that he might have a good one. I rolled my eyes and continued.

"So, this Xiller, whom we have no idea is on a killing spree. We have not found the link between the killings. So humor me. When commissioner and I were discussing about the case a new information came to light. Let us skip those parts for now and move by this lead. I'll tell the whole story at night when you all are tired. Let us assume for now that the link between these two cases is that both victims are a sexual assault convicts. Now I know it may sound weird but let's for now go about this case as I said," I said to the team who were looking at me like I spoke Latin for a moment.

"But sir, even if the link is true how do we know who is going to be our third victim? And how is this Xiller person getting the information of these people when there is no record of them ever involving in sexual assault. Even if we move towards all the people convicted for sexual assault, don't take this the wrong way sir but don't you think almost half the town's people are at a risk of being our third victim?" Raul said.

"There is nothing to feel bad about. You're right for a fact. You're right Raul. But as you said, our previous victim's are not recorded for any sexual assault and are quite high authority. The minister and mayor. If I am not wrong the perfect link is the people who committed crime but are powerful enough to not get that into their records. We have to go through every past sexual assault complaints that are given by civilians and not the sexual assault cases. If my guess is right, then the killer is targeting people who are in high power and are sexual offender. So let's search every single past complaints. I need to go somewhere. If any of you found any leads, you call me that instant," I finished my reasoning.

"Sir, you mean to say, people who should be sex offender. Technically sex offender is a person convicted of crimes such as sexual assault or sexual conduct with a minor. And also sir, Xiller".

"Jamie, please. Come on man," I said and went out of the room.
