Reminiscence.

News playing on T.V

"He did...", a woman who is sobbing uncontrollably says on the T.V where she is interviewed by a reporter.

"Who Ma'am? Can you say the name?" , the reporter asks the girl who is clutching her dress as if her life depended on it. Her face is covered with a mask. Her eyes are red and bare skin shown is bruised. Her hands are covered with scratches and nail imprints.

"Our father... He impregnated me and sexually assaulted my sisters", as the girl says the news gets cut and responses and comments of public from different parts of the town for this case are shown next. As if someone gave them the script, every comment was blaming the religion and country explicitly and not the accused.

...

"What are you watching?",   Ril asked her from the bedroom while wearing his shirt.

"Madness...", Tia replied with a dull voice.

"Why sweetie. You want to share with your life partner?...", he asked, coming towards her from the bedroom.

A small smile on her face, she explained the details "a man sexually exploited 4 women by locking them up in the house and torturing and people,... hah... people are... are blaming the religion and country, but not the man or they don't even care for those women but they just want this opportunity to degenerate their beliefs on that specific religion. These moments... make me feel... pity to those out there who are being manipulated into believing that a Human's behaviours corresponds with his/her religion. I mean, this has nothing, to do with that man's beliefs but his outlook on life like how he thinks he can get away with this just because he is a man or the way he thinks whatever he did is, okay!

I mean... how dumb are they?

Someone said spot on...if someone make a fool of you once its their fault. And if you're being made a fool again and again... you're to blame. I mean, can't they see that their belief is driving and unwanted wedge on something crucial?"

"Come on. These people are naïve..."

"For like what? Their whole life?" Tia asked with a frown.

"Listen Precious, You and me know what lies beyond the headlines and who's really at fault because of our past experiences. While my mom is still that naïve sweet woman. Because she was brought up certain way. For Example, if you take a kid from a wealthy noble family and give it to some rebels who hate nobles utmost, the kid will grow up to be like a rebel or a Nobel?

Our circumstances and the knowledge we acquire shape us into whatever we are. There are some people who grow past those circumstances. We belong there", Ril said embracing her tightly.

"Honey... if you want to know the truth, you'll go to any lengths to attain it. That's what I believe", Tia said removing the hand from her waist.

"And I respect that. And agree", Ril said settling on the couch and pulling Tia into a cuddle and nuzzling his head on her neck.

Tia giggling and faliing on his chest spoke, "I know baby. I was being an... pain. Sorry. Its just that, I'm losing beliefs in everything around."

"Me?" , Ril asked placing a deep kiss on her neck and sucking hard.

"hah..., You're.... the gravity that is keeping me safe in this Universe"
