Jack's face hardened with concern. "Absolutely not. You're still injured. You're in no shape to be leading an attack."

Teague added, "Not only is she injured, but it'll be nearly impossible to find a crew willing to follow her into such a dangerous situation. And let's not forget, she isn't even a captain."

Marina's face flushed with anger. "I don't need a crew to be brave. I've faced danger before. I know what's at stake here. I can do this."

Jack shook his head, frustration evident in his expression. "You're putting yourself at risk. We can't afford to lose you again."

Marina's anger flared as the objections continued to mount. "You think it's reckless? It's thanks to me risking my life that we've gotten this far! If no one takes action, we'll never stand a chance against Morgan or anyone else. Being a pirate isn't about cowering in the shadows—it's about facing danger head-on and fighting for what's ours!"

Her voice rose with fervor, capturing the attention of every pirate in the room. Without a second thought, she climbed onto the table, her figure commanding the space. She faced the assembled pirate lords and their crews, her eyes blazing with intensity.

"Look at us! We're pirates, the rulers of the seas! There's a so-called shadow lord out there, using magic to fight. He's not even brave enough to face us with his own strength. He hides behind sorcery and wants to conquer our world! We decide who sails the seas, not some pretender who thinks he can rule us with tricks and deceit."

Marina's voice echoed through the room, her passion palpable. "We have fought and bled for our place on these seas. We've earned the right to decide our fate, and we will not let some shadowy charlatan take that from us. If we sit here and wait for Morgan to come to us, we'll be remembered as cowards. We need to show them what it means to challenge us, to confront us. And we need to do it with courage, not fear!"

Her speech resonated with the gathered pirates, stirring a murmur of agreement. Even those who had been hesitant now regarded her with renewed respect. Marina's fierce conviction and determination had ignited a spark among them. She stepped down from the table, her chest heaving with the effort of her passionate address, and looked around at the faces now focused on her.

Marina paced around the gathered pirates, her resolve unyielding. The tension in the room was thick, and her words cut through it with a determined edge. "I will lead this attack," she declared, her voice ringing with conviction. "In the name of piracy and bravery, I will fight to protect what we've built. I will risk my life for the future of our world, for those who come after Wus and for every soul who dares to call themselves a pirate.who among you will stand with me in this fight?"

The room erupted in murmurs of agreement and shuffling as several pirate lords stepped forward. "We will!" one of them bellowed. "Five of my best men will join you!"

"I'll send five as well!" another shouted, his voice brimming with resolve.

One by one, more lords and captains pledged their most skilled crew members. By the end, Marina had assembled a formidable crew large enough to man two ships. The sight of this united front against their common enemy was both invigorating and humbling.

With the crew now set, Marina turned to Jack, her gaze steady and expectant, "will you lead alongside me in this fight?"

Jack, who had been silently absorbing the gravity of the situation, looked at Marina with a mix of respect and concern. The weight of her question hung in the air as he considered her plea and the shared responsibility that lay ahead.

The thought of her going into battle, still recovering from her injuries, was both infuriating and heart-wrenching. Jack knew that if he tried to stop her now, it wouldn't be a matter of convincing her—she was resolute, and nothing would sway her from her path. He realized that to protect her, to ensure that she had the best chance of survival and success, he had to stand beside her. Her mission would be his mission, and her fate intertwined with his own.

As Marina's gaze locked onto him, her challenge was clear: she needed a second captain, a partner in this perilous endeavor. Jack took a deep breath, the weight of the decision pressing down on him. He looked around at the assembled pirate lords and their crews, all rallying behind Marina's cause, and felt a surge of determination. This was no longer just about fighting Morgan; it was about fighting for what they all believed in—freedom, bravery, and the right to rule the seas.

With a resigned but resolute nod, Jack stepped forward. "Alright, Marina," he said, his voice carrying the gravity of his decision. "I'll be your second captain. We'll face this fight together. If there's any chance to make a stand and push back against Morgan, we'll take it. For you, for all of us."

His words were met with a murmur of approval from the gathered pirates. Jack's acceptance was both a promise and a commitment to the cause, and it solidified the alliance that would soon set sail against their formidable enemy. In that moment, Jack felt a mix of dread and resolve, but above all, a fierce determination to see this through and protect the ones he had come to care about.
