Experiment 25 - a Generic Object Battle fanfic

A/N: hey guys it's been about a year and a half, but I'm back! This chapter was actually mostly written when my hiatus started, but I finally finished it, as well as wrote the next 2 chapters! We're back! This one is a little short and uneventful but next chapter is much longer and the one after that adds a new character! (Also please never spoil who gets eliminated, especially if the episode isn't out yet)

EXPERIMENT 25
An experiment to see what will happen if a group of objects are trapped together with nothing but each other, while also being experimented on in various other ways. Starting with 5 subjects who all seem to have problems with each other, hopefully getting more.

EXPERIMENT 25-1
An experiment where Subjects 1 and 2 (working as one) have to complete puzzles to prevent Subject 3 from getting shocked, while Subject 3 must do the same for them. Lasted a couple hours. All three of the subjects are notoriously useless.

EXPERIMENT 25-2
An experiment where Subjects 4 and 5 are stuck in a room together all day with nothing to do, but they have the ability to shock each other if they wish.

   Sign groaned. "These papers are boring!"

   "Yes, I know, that's the problem!" Cactus said angrily. "Well, they aren't totally boring, but I want to do some more exciting tests!"

   Sign turned to look at Cactus. They were in her evil secret lab, discussing what to do. Sign hadn't done much to help except giving the lab rats food, which she hated. She was promised torture, and while there was some pain in these papers that was pretty funny to read, it wasn't that cool.

   "So?" Sign raised an eyebrow, annoyed. "Are you going to do something more interesting?"

   "That's where you come in!" Cactus said. "In order to seal this deal between us, I'll let you pick what we should do to one or more of the subjects. Feel free to get creative with it, I've been wanting to try some inhumane sciencey stuff!"

   "Hmm..." Sign thought. Anything she wanted? With those horrendous idiots? She preferred not to think about them, so it was hard to come up with ideas. "Can you turn them into pigs?"

   "Hm..." Cactus thought. "Maybe. I could try something like that. I wouldn't do it to ALL of them, though. That's ridiculous."

   Sign frowned. "Can't you just, I don't know, kill them?"

   Cactus was shocked. "KILL them?! I'm trying to do experiments, not kill them!" She paused. "Well, studying how they would react if one of them died here would be interesting... if an experiment goes really poorly, I guess we'll just let them die then!"

   "Yay!" Sign cheered. Those disgusting freaks didn't deserve to live anyways. Now she just had to think of good experiments that could get them killed.

   "Oh, it's about time you go give them their food. Remember our deal!" Cactus said.

   Sign groaned. "Really?!"

   "Yes! Now give them the leftover lasagna from last night!" Cactus ordered.

   "WAAAH SO BOSSY!" Sign cried, hoping it would convince Cactus not to yell at her like that again.

   "JUST GO!" She yelled instead.

   "Fine!" Sign stopped crying and grabbed the leftover lasagna. How gross. She figured lowly pigs like the lab rats wouldn't mind it, though. It was perfect for trash like them!
