Y/N POV:

As night descended upon Heaven, a palpable tension filled the air. We gathered in our makeshift hideout, a small clearing deep in the woods, shrouded by trees that stood like sentinels against the world outside. Emily, Leon, and the remaining allies looked to me, their expressions a mix of determination and concern.

"We need a plan," I said, pacing back and forth. "Sera's betrayal changes everything. If we want to have any chance against the council, we need to be strategic."

Emily nodded, her brow furrowed in concentration. "We could use the cover of darkness to move through the city and reach out to our allies. They need to know what happened and prepare for the worst."

Leon crossed his arms, a frown on his face. "But if we do that, we risk running into the council again. We can't afford to be captured."

"We won't be," I assured him, my voice firm. "We're stronger together, and we can't let fear dictate our actions. We need to make our stand now."

With a sense of urgency, we divided tasks among our allies, assigning roles for scouting, messaging, and protection. As I led the charge, a surge of adrenaline coursed through me. This was it. This was the moment we'd been preparing for.

As we made our way through the labyrinth of trees and toward the city, the excitement was palpable. But as we neared the outskirts, something felt off. A cold chill settled in the air, and the silence was suffocating.

"Something isn't right," I whispered to Emily, glancing around. "Stay alert."

Suddenly, a flash of light erupted from behind us. "Get down!" I shouted, pushing Emily to the ground as a beam of energy whizzed past us, barely missing.

Before we could react, figures emerged from the shadows—Seraphim in council uniforms, their expressions determined and menacing. They surrounded us, blocking any escape routes.

"Thought you could sneak around, did you?" one of them sneered. Sera stood at the front of the council, her wings spread wide, an sense of authority radiating from her.

"Y/N, you're coming with us," she commanded, her voice cold and unwavering.

"Never!" I shouted back, summoning all my strength. "We won't let you take us!"

But the council members were relentless. Energy beams erupted around us, and I barely managed to evade one, but it wasn't enough. In the chaos, I felt a surge of power grip me from behind. I turned, but it was too late—a pair of arms took me, locking me in place.

"No!" I struggled against them, fighting with everything I had, but the energy drained from me, leaving me weak. The world around me blurred, and darkness crept in.
