Haerin's pov
"Hey father Danielle asked me if I wanted to go get ice cream with her could I go? Please father" I plead my father. "Sure go get fifty bucks from my wallet and be safe Haerin." I just nodded and got the money and walked out the door. Danielle was there waiting with this boy? Probably her new friend. Danielle always makes new friends everywhere she's like a beautiful social butterfly.
I quickly walked over to them. "Baby.. who's this?" Danielle chuckled nervously. "Haerin this is Jerry.." Haerin? I looked at her confused she always calls me baby. I tried not to pout I just kept a nonchalant expression. I noticed Danielle laughing and giggling a lot with that guy. I glared at him and started walking behind both of them. My heart was hurting a bit. I'm just being insecure...and dramatic.
I walked behind both of them Danielle didn't even notice me missing they both laughed and laughed together it was getting on my nerves. I stopped my tracks to see if they would realize that I'm not following them but they just continue walking off. I put my money in my pocket and walked in a different direction.
After some time I ended up at Hyein's house my one and only best best friend. I knocked on her door a few times until it opened. The door was opened by Minji. Were they having a group meeting?
"Hey Haerin come in..why do you look so sad?" Minji mumbled the last part. "I'll tell you when we are with the other girls.. where's Hanni and Hyein?" I looked at Minji and she pointed upstairs. "In Hyein's room..we were discussing something for the group we called Danielle multiple times but she didn't pick up and we were calling you but your phone was off" I nodded as I ran upstairs to Hyein's room Minji followed behind me.
I got in the room and saw Hyein and Hanni. "Hey guys.." I looked at them and waved I sat on the floor next to Hyein pouting. "So are you going to tell us what's wrong?" Minji said as she closed the door behind her and cuddled against Hanni. "Danielle is acting so suspicious...she met this new boy and she's all over him..and it's hurting me..a lot." I mumbled. They all look at each other with a confusing look in their eyes.
"Danielle wouldn't do that... she's always like that with you only." Hanni said. "I know that's what I'm saying I feel like she likes him or something.." I scratch the back of my neck. "Ah Danielle...she falls for anything so quickly don't you think" Hyein mumbled.
I nodded. "Well.. let's not jump into conclusions and think she is cheating right away.." Minji said. I nodded my head once again. "I was supposed to go get ice cream with her but when I went outside there was a boy she was talking with when we were walking to get ice cream she didn't even notice I was walking behind them. She was all up on that boy." I pout as I hugged Hyein.
Slowly my tears started slipping out. "Hey Haerin... let's not jump into conclusions okay..Uhm.." Minji mumbled. "I'm sorry I just cry when I get jealous.." I Mumbled. "I overthink too much.." I laid on Hyein's lap. Suddenly the doorbell rang. "Let me go get that" Minji let go of Hanni and ran downstairs.
Me, Hanni, and Hyein started gossiping about people at school while Minji went to go open the door. "Hey guys!" I heard Danielle's bubbly voice come from the doorway. She sat next to me and held my hand. "Uhm..why are your eyes puffy baby? Were you crying?" I looked at Danielle and shook my head no. "Uh we should probably give you guys privacy" Hanni Mumbled. "Oh yeah" Hyein said.
"C'mon guys let's go watch a movie downstairs" Minji got Hanni on her back and Hyein grabbed pillows and blankets. "Wait don't leave me alone!" I whispered yelled at Hyein. "You guys gotta fix what's happening..Good luck Rin." Hyein smiled and left the room with Hanni and Minji.
"So why were you crying?" Danielle let go of my hand and looked into my eyes. I quickly avoided eye contact and fidget with my fingers. "Uhm..I don't know" I Mumbled. My throat felt dry.
"Baby..talk to me.." I saw her start tearing up. I hated seeing her cry I immediately felt guilt rush all over my body. "I'm sorry... don't cry baby don't cry.." I looked at her. "Why were you crying Princess?" She held my face with her small slightly yellow hands. "I..I was jealous.." I said as I nuzzled my face onto her hands. "Jealous?..of what Baby? Did I do something wrong? Why were you jealous?" I looked in her eyes. "That guy from earlier.." I Mumbled. "What about him?" She said as she held my face in her palms. "You were so clingy and you were all up on him" I looked down to my fingers and fidget with them again.
I heard a faint chuckle. "That's my brother silly remember I told you he was going to visit baby." I looked at her. "Oh..but that still doesn't give you the reason to ignore my whole presence and not call me baby.." I started crying. "I'm sorry baby..I still haven't told him about my sexuality.. it's okay tho I already told him..I could call you baby in front of him now" she smile at me. I felt my heartbeat raising. "I'm sorry.." I Mumbled as I looked in her pretty puppy eyes.
"Hey hey don't be sorry okay? It was my fault after all..I love you so much baby...you mean everything to me" She smiled at me. "I love you too baby.." I gave her a quick peck. "Hey how about we make out? The girls are downstairs we have free time alone" she said chuckling. I nodded as I got on her lap and started kissing her.
