Lulu seethed, fury burning within.
Akio's bond with Sota grew stronger, fueling her resentment.
She vowed to destroy Akio, eliminating the object of Sota's affection.
One fateful evening, Akio walked home from the library.
Lulu ambushed him in a deserted alley.
"Akio, you think you're better than me?" Lulu snarled.
Akio tried to flee, but Lulu's grip was strong.
She shoved him into a wall, Akio's head cracking against concrete.
Dazed, Akio struggled to stand.
Lulu kicked him, sending Akio tumbling down.
Just as Lulu raised a broken bottle, Sota appeared.
"Sota! No!" Akio warned, his voice weak.
Sota tackled Lulu, pinning her to the ground.
"Leave Akio alone!" Sota shouted.
Lulu's eyes flashed with anger, but Sota's grip held firm.
Akio coughed, wincing in pain.
Sota rushed to his side.
"Akio, oh god, I'm so sorry," Sota whispered.
Akio's vision blurred.
Sota's tears fell onto Akio's face.
"Akio, stay with me!" Sota pleaded.
Akio's hand trembled, reaching for Sota.
Their fingers intertwined.
With Sota's voice guiding him, Akio fought to stay conscious.
