Joker's Back

At Branchcorp, Branch, his family, and Terry arrive.

Joyce Carr: Good evening, Sire.

Branch: Ms. Carr. You remember my assistant, Terry McGinnis?

Joyce Carr: Of course. I'm glad you could join us, Terry. Everyone is here. Well, everyone except Mr. Pryce, unfortunately.

John Dory: That's no surprise.

Joyce Carr: Can I have your attention please? It's my pleasure to welcome back the guiding light of this company: King Branch.

Branch: Thank you, Joyce. It's a pleasure to see you all again. In the future, I hope to—

The microphone makes a loud sound.

Branch: Spend time getting to know each member of our company, learning about you individually—

The Joker's laughter is heard.

Woof attacks.

Joyce Carr: Security! Emergency on terrace level.

Ghoul and Chucko gas security.

Branch takes care of Woof using his cane.

Terry: You gonna be okay?

Branch: Go to work.

Branch is attacked by the Dee Dee's.

Dee Dee: Well, if it isn't old King Branch.

Dee Dee: So debonair.

Dee Dee: So dapper.

Dee Dee: So decrepit.

They kick him to the stage where a bunch of purple smoke builds up and the Joker emerges from it. Branch and the others are shocked with horror.

Joker: Hello, TrollsTopia! Joker's back in town! (Laughs)

Branch: It can't be.

Joker: Oh, no. Your old eyes do not deceive you, Branchie! After all, who'd know me better than you?

Bat-Troll: Back off gruesome.

Joker: Ah, the new boy. Ears are too long and I miss the cape. But not too shabby. Not too shabby at all. Woof!

Woof attacks him while Ghoul and Chucko steal the same machine they were stealing earlier.

Joker: How's it coming, boys?

Chucko: We're home free.

Joker: Then I'll see you there. Time to go, Dee Dee.

The Joker, Woof, and the Dee Dee's leave and Joker activates a bunch of bombs that causes a man and a woman to fall.

Joker: Well, what's it gonna be, Bat-fake?

Bat-Troll goes after the people while the Joker and his gang escaped. Terry starts driving Branch and the others.

Terry: I know what you're all thinking. I messed up. I let the clown go in order to save those Trolls.

Poppy: You did the right thing.

Terry: So, The Joker, huh? Looks pretty spry for a guy who's gotta be, what? Mid-sixties? Any theories on that? Clone? Robot? Suspended animation due to floating around frozen in a block of ice?

Branch: Shut up a drive.

Terry: Yes, sir.

The former Robin, Tim Drake was watching the News.

Reporter: This was the scene just three hours ago, as a man claiming to be the legendary Joker disrupted a ceremony at the newly opened Branchcorp building.

Tim's Wife: Honey, what are you watching?

Reporter: Adding to the drama was the appearance of another legendary Trollstopia Icon, the Bat-Troll who engaged his one-time foe in a stunning aerial battle.

Tim's Wife: Honey?

Tim: It's nothing, sweetheart. Nothing.
