S.4.2 Hard school

Info:  Gloria is pregnant

We were at Claire's and Phil's house and ate dinner with our whole family. Phil stand up and said. „If I could just have everybody's attention quick. On this wonderful occasion...our daughter leaving tomorrow for college...if I could get everyone to raise their glass."

We all raised our glasses. „As I quote from one of our nation's great fathers, Jefferson. George Jefferson. "I never dreamed that one of my own would be going off to a university, but here I stand, a proud black man, knowing that all the hours I put in at the dry cleaner..." „Phil" Interrupted Claire him annoyed.

„Where were we?" Asked Phil. „Quoting the president." answered Haley him. „Okay, if she's the future of America, we should start using Chinese money now" Said Alex.

„We already are." meant also Luke. „My arm is tired. To Haley." Smiled Dad and we cheered but then Mitch said. „And before everyone puts their glasses down, we're also very proud of Lily and Aiden. Tomorrow is her first day of Kindergarten"

Mark and I looking at each other, we didn't want to say that Aiden goes tomorrow into the kindergarten because today it's Haley's day but Mitch didn't listen to us.

Mitch and Claire are now in the kitchen. „Well, Haley, Lily and Aiden aren't the only ones starting school. My mom and Jay are going to parenting class." Told us Manny. „We're doing it for the baby. Not this baby. That baby." Jay said first he pointed at Glorias growing womb and then at Manny.

„Manny doesn't believe that we know what we're doing. A couple of new hairs under his arm, and now he thinks he knows more than his own mother." Said Gloria annoyed. „I know not to embarrass my son as he stands the threshold of manhood." countered Manny back.

„And Mom and Dad are going to a dance lesson." Said also Jake and pointed at us. „I don't know why I have to go to this thing. In case you've forgotten, I raised three kids." Said Dad and at that moment Claire and Mitch are beginning to fight.

We all looked at Dad. „Why look at me? It was their mother's fault. I was barely around." „Good that you have one kid who is normal." I smiled and drank my wine and laughed how funny Mitch and Claire are fighting.

Time Skip

„Okay, honey have fun and make good friends." I said and kissed Aiden on the cheek. Today it's his first day of kindergarten and Mark and I said goodbye to him so we can after that go to the dance lessons.

Then we saw Mitch and Cam with Lilly and a little boy but Cam hold the boy against a pole and threatened him. Mitch looked at us and shouted. „Hey, Mark, Y/n!! Comes here!!"

Mark and I are looking at each other and we run quickly away. „We don't know him!!" Shouted Mark to the people who are looking at us.

Time Skip

We are now at the dance lesson. „Why do even have to do this?" I asked Mark and sighed. „Because...because I wanted to learn to dance for you. It's our anniversary soon and I wanted to go to a fancy restaurant with you and dance afterwards" Mark said and looked down.

„Hey, baby it is okay that you can't dance. I'm not the best dancer either." I smiled at him and hugged him. „Thank you for understanding that." he smiled at me too and kissed me. „Come, we are going home and watching a romantic movie." Mark said and kissed me again.
