"Cas, you need to rest. You are human now. Humans can't stay awake forever." Dean and Cas had been looking for Abaddon non-stop since she had taken Sam. Since Crowley had disappeared, they were on their own. If Cas had his way about it, they wouldn't rest until they had Sam. But he had only been human for a short while. Dean understood the importance of sleep.
"Dean, our brother is missing, with Abaddon of all people, and you want to sleep? What if she is torturing him right now? Sam is the only one who knows where Crowley is. You know how bad Abaddon wants Crowley sent straight to Purgatory." Cas was frantic. He had worked so hard and felt awful that he had not yet located Sam. "All this time, I should have been able to pick up a signal from Abaddon or a prayer from Sam. This is my fault, Dean, anything that has happened to Sam is my fault."
Dean stared at Cas from across the bunker table. He hadn't known that Cas blamed himself. If he had, he would've stopped this a lot sooner. Dean watched as Castiel's sparkling blue eyes filled with tears. Dean walked around the table.
"Cas, its not your fault. None of this can be blamed on you. All of this is because of Abaddon" Dean casually placed his hand at the base of Cases neck slowly working down his back, trying to sooth him. Cas turned around.
"Dean..." Dean held a finger to Cas's lips to silence him. Cas grabbed Dean's finger, and Dean thought this moment was over. Cas then surprised Dean with the most unexpected motion. Cas's fingers curled around Dean's. He stoop up and stared into Dean's eyes.
"I just realized how green your eyes are..." Cas smiled, and leaned into Dean, running his free hand across Dean's tight stomach.
"Did you know that I can see the ocean in your eyes?"
"Wait, really? Because as an angel-" Dean silenced Cas by kissing him. "No, Cas, not really. Now, I need you to get some sleep. I don't think I can handle you sleep-deprived."
"Okay, Dean. But I need you to promise that that wasn't everything, that there will be more."
Dean put his arms around Cas, taking in the scent of his hair. "I promise"
With that, Cas went to bed.
~So I just kinda got this idea in my head, and I know that some of you want to know what happened to Sam, so I'm thinking that this may have a part 2 later on? I don't know, though. Leave your thoughts on this part and whether I should do part two, please. Thanks for reading this, guys CharlieDean ~
