After that encounter, you made sure that everytime your father went to Mr. Jian Zhong, you came with him.
At first hua pei tried making it seem like she was annoyed, like she hated being in your presence. But, seeing how strong witted you were, she couldn't do anything and just let you play with her.
And whenever recess was time, you often visited her with apple slices. Knowing she liked eating fruits.
"Pingping! Wait langgg" you caught up to her and handed her the apple slices from your bento box.
Not realizing a few students were already a bit surprised by your action. You were supposed to be strict to Huang Ping, but instead you grew soft towards her. And everyone knew that.
You never paid attention to any delinquent because they would fix themselves after you glanced at them.
And now you've grown soft towards the feared rich girl from the first grade.
Murmurs spread in the halls, a small huff escaped your lips as you noticed the confused glances towards you and hua pei.
"Is there something everybody would like to explain? Why need to be so noisy? Tsk.." You kept your smile intact, handing the apple slices to ping before continuing to talk with her.
The hall was immediately hushed down, nothing was heard unless the chuckles of hua pei and your voice.
"I can't believe they could be so noisy. Ang sakit sa ears." You said with sarcasm.
"And I can't believe I'm starting to like you" Huang Ping chuckled out.
As much as you would like to deny it, you liked annoying her.. alot.
"Hm, ako pa ba, syempre."
"Malapit na mag one month, all I need to fix is my accent lang diba?"
"Mhm, and after that fluent kana ng Tagalog. And fix your attitude kung gusto mong matapos na pag guide ko sayo"
"Oh.. kapag inayos ko ugali ko, aalis kana din?"
"Not really, I'll still annoy you as much."
"Good."
"Anong good sinasabi mo dyan? Gusto mo na siguro kooooo"
"Ugh, shut up.."
"Okay pingg, I'm still quite full since kakakain ko lang. I'll wait for you to finish eating para we can walk around."
Hua pei nodded, eating the apple slices you gave her and a few wafers na binaon nya, drinking water afterwards.
You both walked around the school's garden, then went to the playground, seeing there was still a lot of time.
"y/n!"
a voice called out, oh. Sophia! An old friend of yours back to 3rd grade. She was with your brother again.
