Alice's POV: December 6, 2022

Seeing my message inbox empty was a slight change to me, it had been two days since y/n had stopped chasing me and oh it was a contrast.

My father called and since Shiela wasn't answering he asked me to prep the Christmas part instead.

// Audio call //

Jian: 平,你应该趁 Shiela 忙的时候安排聚会。
(Ping, you should arrange the party while Shiela is busy.)

Alice: 我会处理好的,
爸爸。你还有什么话要说吗?
(I got it, papa.
Is there anything else
you want to say?)

Jian: 不,我到那儿后会亲自和你谈
(No, I'll speak to you personally when I get there.)

// End of call //

He didn't even say goodbye or anything? He just hung up.

We always prepare things beforehand since it would be a pain to go look for presents for the whole family and book a venue.

I called a few numbers to place the dates and time so they could properly decorate our venue before Christmas.

And just by finding a venue took a whole day.

The next thing I had to arrange was the colors for the chairs, tables, and the whole decorations.

Before I signed the invitations that were to be given, but by now shiela helped me so it was much easier.

"Sabi na eh, di mo ginawa si y/n ng invite." Shiela sighed while signing the last of the invitations.

"Hindi ko na kailangan imbitahin yun." I said, standing up to get my phone.

"Magagalit si dadi. Tinuring na n'yang anak si y/n." Shiela frowned before also getting her phone to request more invitation letters to send to y/n's family.

I let her be, staying silent as I swiped through the photos of our current venue.

Days have passed and I finished prepping everything, just waiting for Christmas to arrive and picking up gifts to give and a few money sach.

5:28 pm.

Everyone finally arrived and we put our presents aside, letting ourselves have some fun.

I saw my father and mother with my siblings and decided to approach them.

"Alice, Anjan na sila y/n?" Wesley asked when he saw no sight of them.

"Papunta na daw sila Tita Kiana." I said, looking at the message y/n's mother sent me a few minutes ago.
