Courting? - 7

Before going back to bamban for another visit, you decided to go to your brother for advice.

"Courting? Sino ba liligawan mo? Eh diba babae ka? Dapat yung lalaki yung-" napatawa ka nalang dahil sa sinasabi ng kapatid mo.

"What a not so great guess, alam mo naman I'm not into guys Michael." You said, reminding him of your type.

"Oh.. hula ko si Ping? ay si Alice yung liligawan mo?" Michael grinned while mentioning.

"Correct, I mean I'm pretty sure nagustuhan ko s'ya during our elem days pero bata pa kasi tayo noon" You explained as you thought about your current feelings. "And now, I'm ready to try and court her, because one thing that I know is I want to be with her." You blushed as you admit wanting to be with her.

"Ayan, yan din feeling ko nung una ko'ng niligawan si Sophia~" He sniffed dramatically, pretending to wipe away tears.

"Baliw ka ata" you mumbled, looking at him weirdly "Sabihin mo na kasi, how do I even start??"

"Buy her.. flowers! Tell her how you feel and just let your feelings do the work" Michael softened up, feeling sentimental.

"Wow, great advice." You sarcastically said, but thanking him slightly. "I'll head on my way, tell Pa and Ma that I'm in bamban if they're going to find me again".

"Alright, I got your back" Michael nodded, waving at you as you made your way out and entered your car, driving to bamban.

You made a short stop to a flower shop, buying a bouquet of pink tulips.

You'll let your feelings do the work naman, kaya after you paid you continued on your journey.

You pulled up her farm house, noticing her father already outside, talking over the phone with someone.

You got out and greeted him, pero you noticed how he glanced at the bouquet.

"Who's that for?" Mr. Zhong asked.

"For your daughter po, Tito.." You said with a slight hesitance.

"Do you want to marry her? Well, alright. I'll arrange the wedding next week-" Mr. Zhong said as he had a pleased expression.

You could only cut him off, "Teka lang po! I won't marry her unless she actually likes me.. I'm only planning to court her and then take things to another level if we ever get together." You explained calmly.

A frown was seen on his face, but he just sighed and continued talking on the phone.

You excused yourself and knocked on the door, it was opened by a house keeper that let you inside and called Alice.

"Oh, ang aga ng visit mo ah? Sabi mo sa Isang araw ka pa?" Alice giggled softly as she saw you, but looking curious as she saw she bouquet in your arms.
