If I ever had the chance to gain free stuff, I'd totally take it! However, I was never lucky or rather didn't seem needy enough. I don't know what it was about Helena but she made real life situations seem like that of a movie.

The two of us along with a few of our friends were out one Sunday afternoon loitering around the boardwalk.

"I'm hungry..." I complained out loud.

"What do you want?" Helena asked innocently. "I'll treat you!" She got up off the wooden bench we were both seated on and adjusted her dress.

I looked at her strangely as she made her dress shorter somehow. "What are you doing..." I mumbled.

She stopped what she was doing to ask me about her makeup. She really had me puzzled. I sat there watching as she called someone on her cell telling them where we were.

"Who'd you call?" Raen asked, walking over to us as we were separated from our group of friends.

I shrugged looking at her. "Helena said she's going to treat me!" I bragged knowing he got jealous of our close relationship.

"What?!?" He exclaimed. "Treat me too!"

"What are you? Five?" I laughed to myself. "Shouldn't you be treating us both? O-NII-SAN~"

"My age has nothing to do with it," he pouted sitting next to me.

The truth was, Raen was three years older than us and the only one of our all our friends that actually had a job. He'd always get upset when I mentioned his age as well, but he didn't look a day over fifteen.

"Ice-cream!" Helena said randomly.

Raen and I gave each other puzzled looks. "What?" I finally asked, after realizing she had no intention of saying anything more.

"I'll treat you to ice-cream," she smiled cutely.

"Me too?" Raen couldn't help but ask.

"Sure! I mean it's not going to be my money," she continued smiling.

"What???" I started at her, my thoughts showing on my face. "Then who's money is it going to be? I'm broke!"

"I haven't been paid as yet," Raen said quickly.

"No one even asked you!" I snapped unintentionally.

"Meanie!!!!" He exclaimed pointing fingers.

"Sorry." I pouted.

"Don't worry," Helena said in a matter of fact way. "My money is coming now."

Almost at that exact moment, a blue Chevy cruze drove into the parking lot near to the board walk. I took no notice of it until Helena began waving like crazy in the general direction of the car.

A tall red head got out of the car locking it up before coming to where we were.

"Who's that guy?" Raen said tapping my arm.

I wasn't sure at first but as he got closer, I realized there was only one guy I knew with the face of a gangster. "He's Helena's boyfriend, Jake."

Raen stared at me wide eyed and slack jawed, causing me to laugh. "I had the same reaction, but he's pretty nice." I laughed.

We watched as she hugged him before picking arms with him.

"Hey," he said, finally taking notice of Raen and me.

"Hi," we said in unison.

"Soo... Ice-cream?" She asked him, eyelashes batting, with the most angelic smile.

Atleast that's what I bet everyone else was seeing, but what I saw was an evil grin which always worked. It was the,'you can't say no to me' face. I watched as Jake's nos slowly became a yes and I knew it was all over, for his wallet atleast. Although I felt bad for Jake, I was getting free ice-cream!!! But I knew he tuly had to love Helena to leave home just to buy us all ice-cream. ^w^/
