Parties weren't really my thing as an otaku, actually, they still weren't, yet somehow I was at a club just sitting there drink soda.
"Are you just going to stay here the entire night?" Helena asked me coming off the dance floor.
"Is it an option?" I joked taking another sip from my glass.
"I went to the convention with you, didn't I?" she nagged.
"But you know you wanted to go secretly as well..." I stated.
"Well..." she was at a loss for words, which caused me to laugh a bit. "I'll sit here with you. You seem really lonely."
"I don't need you," I said it meaning for it to sound so harsh. "I have tons of manga to read so you can go dance!"
Helena sat next to me pouting. Did she really think that would work with me? We sat there for awhile, quietly before two guys walked over to our table taking a seat. I looked across at Helena who didn't seem as bothered as I was.
"Hey Helena," one of the guys finally said. "How have you been."
"Good I guess..." she said flatly.
"Do you know him?" I asked realising he knew her name.
"Not at all," she smirked.
"You don't remember me?" the guy said really offended.
"No I don't..." she replied. This had to be one of the funniest situations I had ever witnessed since Helena and I had become friends.
"We met at xTreme..." he paused, "The techno club last Halloween?" he said hoping that would trigger something.
"I don't really recall..."
"I have you on Skype," he said as if it were his last hope.
However, Helena still sat there still unsure. "I hardly go on Skype." she finally replied.
"I see..." he sighed. "Well I'm Daren, and this is Benji."
"Oh I already know Benji!" she announced, which made me laugh. That poor Daren guy...
"Well I guess I'll see you around." he said leaving with Benji, looking completely depressed.
"Mhm," she said watching as they left.
I began laughing out loud,"Did you really not know him?"
"At first I wasn't sure, but after he said Skype I remembered." she said taking up my soda. "He's that guy I told you about."
"You mean the one you never replied to although he sent you daily messages?" I giggled.
"That's the one," she sighed drinking my soda. "I don't remember him being that cute though..."
"Seriously??" I exclaimed wide eyed.
~Hopefully my chapters aren't boring xD and there's not really a storyline I plan on following, if anyone wondered ^^
