Part 6.

Bani is done paying the hospital bills....she then sits down on the waiting bench.....then starts pacing around....then the doctor comes out.

"How is she doctor?" Bani asked apprehensively.
"There is nothing wrong with her....she just suffered minor injuries...that's all....which I have dressed to," Doctor replied.
"May I go see her?" Bani asked.
"Sure...if you excuse me...I have other patients to address to," Doctor replied... walking out...he left.

Rental house.
Sitting room.
"Shakti am really getting worried," Pinky said.
"Why so?" Shakti inquired.
"Because.... Anika hasn't returned home yet....she should be done by now...what if something bad as happened to her...and we are unaware of?" Pinky asked concerned.
"Relax Pinky...have you tried calling or maybe texting her?" Shakti asked.
"Yes I did...but no response...what should be done Shakti...am getting scared... moreover....we are new to Mumbai," Pinky explained.
"Relax Pinky... breathe in and out.....( She did)....am sure...she's still in other job interviews....you know a lot of young people are looking for job as well....have some patience....we need to trust her," Shakti replied.
"I hope you're right," Pinky replied.

Hospital.
Bani walked in... fortunately...she found her awake.
"You....what are you doing here....and....am I hallucinating or what....why do you look exactly like me??" Anika asked confused.
"Am Bani Mehta...the one who run you over.....well...I came to apologize....my sincerest apologies....I was lost in thoughts...that I became reckless....again am sorry," Bani replied.
"It's okay....after all...it's not my first time...being hit....let bygones be bygones....if you excuse...me....I'll take my leave," Anika added...about to stand up and walk out of the door....when she stopped her.
"Yes," Anika replied.
"You didn't tell me your name?" Bani asked.
"Anika Thakur," Anika replied.
"Well actually Anika....if you don't mind...I would like you to do something for me," Bani replied.
"Tell me," Anika replied.
"Actually...like I said earlier.....I was lost in thoughts....it had to do with my work....the thing...is I have to leave Mumbai for sometime...but at the same time....I can't leave," Bani explained.
"Huh....I don't understand?" Anika asked confused.
"It's complicated....let me not beat around the bush....I would like to hire you....to impersonate.....for sometime....until I come back...so what do you say?" Bani replied.
"Actually....I don't know what to say..... moreover....how can I trust you...people nowadays are wolf in sheep's clothing....con artist... fraudsters," Anika replied.
"Here....this is my card( gives her card).....I leave it to you...in case you change your mind...call me...I'll be waiting....I'll leave...get well soon," Bani replied....she left.

Balika Cosmetics Company.
It's a Sunday...the staff are released early to go home.
Veer and his colleague are walking home.
"Wow...today...somebody has been extremely quiet....is it... perhaps.... somebody hasn't seen boss ma'am ( Bani)....since this morning....that's why he's getting cranky?" Raghav asked.
"Stop your nonsense....she doesn't affect me whether...she's in or not....it doesn't.....so just drop it," Veer replied.
"Okay....see you tomorrow then men," Raghav replied... leaving...he left.
"Me like her....as if...I have nothing else to do...ooh please...give me a break," Veer said to himself....then went to board rickshaw.

Oberoi mansion.
Kalyani's room.
Shivaay knocked....she allowed her to come in.
"Grandma you called for me?" Shivaay asked.
"Yes...have a seat dear," Kalyani replied....cueing her to sit in the chair adjustment to her.
"Good thing we are alone....now tell me Billu...how are you doing?" Kalyani asked.
"I'm fine thanks for asking," Shivaay replied.
"You know what I meant?" Kalyani asked.
"Ooh you're taking about Bani....I have tried my level best...trust me grandma....but she is irreplaceable....nobody like her.....I don't think...I'll ever love somebody else like the way I like...it's highly impossible," Shivaay replied.
"But Billu you do know.....," Kalyani replied interrupted by him.
"Yes...I know....that Bani....will NEVER....feel the same way...but still....she will feel the same way...she made it crystal clear.... before....I left....now if you excuse me grandma....am going to take a bath," Shivaay replied.... leaving....he left.

"Ooh Almighty... please send an angel to my grandson's life...who will love him for who he is... because his such a gem," Kalyani said to herself.
