PAPA?
ELEVEN WOKE UP.
She had been floating in The Nina Project for around fifteen hours, concerning Dr. Brenner, what had she seen that he had not already shown her?
As soon as her eyes opened, all of the nurses and scientists alike surrounding her, unplugging the devices that were attached to her.
Brenner himself also rushed over to Eleven, holding her head in his hands as he leant over her face, whispered to stay still while they figured out what had happened as she took large breaths, trying to regain sense of where she was, and what had happened.
It wasn't long before she decided to shove the man's hands off of her head, disobeying his words and rushing off through the endless corridors of the underground laboratory, trying to escape one more. Though it did take her a while, she did finally reach a dead end, causing her to be cornered by Papa and his guards.
He finally stood before her, seeing her scared face, how she had backed away from him, he attempted to hold out his hand to her, allowing her to give him the chance to walk her back.
Eleven finally remembered it all, all of what she had seen that day. Four, One, the Rainbow Room, the dead orderlies, guards, children, everything.
The girl lifted her gaze from the floor and looked into the man's eyes, she now saw him in the truer light than before, she had seen what more of a monster he could've become.
Eleven Hopper decided in that moment that she would rather kill the Mind Flayer, the Demogorgan and the Demo-Dogs once again, she would rather do it all again than be here in this moment.
"What did you do to her?" She whispered as tears began to pool in her eyes, her voice wavering.
The Doctor became confused at this, the confusion clearly painted upon his face. "Who?" Was his response.
Eleven took yet another deep breath as she gulped, trying to clear her throat. "Four." She said, putting a clear emphasis on the word.
Brenner wasn't going to try and converse with her in these exposed corridors much longer, but he couldn't not tell her, or else she would leave him.
"I swear to you, my dearest Eleven, that I will tell you later, but will you come with me?" The man tried to used a kind tone, but it came out as quite a hurried one instead.
Desperate to know what had happened that fateful day, Eleven nodded her head hastily and followed him.
The two sat upon Eleven's mattress in her 'room'. "So, now you remember her?" He asked, knowing he didn't need a response. "Four was my prized shining star, that was until she was nineteen, she broke the rules."
"I found out that she had grown quite close with a particular orderly, any form of relationships at all are prohibited between those who are not of the same rank. So, I took her away and dealt with her accordingly."
"Did you... Kill her?" Eleven struggled to get out.
The vivid images flashed through her mind, haunting her still, she couldn't help but be sucked back into the vortex of the memories, yet when she came back to reality, Papa had left her alone.
Eleven Hopper began to wallow in her thoughts, how she couldn't save her, how she didn't save Four, all it took was for her to go in there and stop it all, she could've save her from the suffering. That's what the blonde man- No. One. That's what One had told her.
She understood why he was made at her, she had seen it happening and she did nothing... She just hid, like a child.
But Eleven still had to learn the truth, she had to know...
What happened to Four?

Over her past four years here, Four had grown sick of seeing these same four walls for most hours of the day. Yet she knew why she had been locked in the windowless room that she had been assigned years ago. She had helped Eleven, she had tried to clean her up after a nasty lesson involving her and two battling via their telekinetic abilities. So she faced the consequence that had grown common for her now.
Isolation.
One meal a day, delivered by the same orderly, an orderly that was particularly colder than the rest, nobody even knew his name, but nobody dared to look him in the eyes. No windows were to be placed in any rooms, Four didn't know anywhere but the lab now.
The sleek walls, purposefully made so that no matter what, nothing could hold a grip on them, not even with your fingertips, it made even walking a dangerous task, as not even your feet could keep steady upon the identically textured ground, nor your hands on the walls.
Rumours had spread that this was the method that had sent one patient insane, it made them such a danger that Papa apparently had to get rid of them. Nobody dare speaks their name, but everyone knows who they speak of.
A loud round of banging on the door, which was made to look identical to all four walls on the inside, allowed her to know that her meal of the day had arrived, she had five seconds to move away from the door, unless she wished to become mush. Yet the only trouble was that she had to know where it was, usually though, she was able to guess by where the sound came from, but even managing to find this out became a struggle after a while.
A tray of slop soon landed upon the ground, there was a silicone cup holding water, but it had something in it, she believed that they snuck a dissolvable pill into the water, that gave them nutrients they never could get otherwise. Not with the stuff they served here anyway.
The door began to close but it hadn't completely shut yet, though before it was only held open wide enough to slip in the tray. "How much longer do I have left?" Four surprised herself that she was even able to form the words properly, she believed it had been a little while since she had spoken. She could only pray for an answer from the orderly.
"Not much longer, Dr Brenner wants you back to the lessons as soon as possible. He says he wishes to show you all something." The gruff nature of the orderly's voice didn't come as an astonishment, it suited him, though she couldn't see him, only hearing him through the crack that was still left in the door.
"Thank you." She thanked him meekly.
Not much longer.
