Chapter 4

Marabella runs to the staff-room and grabs her leather jacket before coming out the back as she breathes in and grabs a bottle from her jacket and leans against the wall when suddenly she hears a noise by the dumpster; she immediately ducks down in the corner and sees Vladimir with one of his men as the guy says, "sir, this is the first meeting in which you are representing your family, your father won't be pleased or Mr Collins to see you doing this". Vladimir says, "Fuck him, I came all the way, and you think these South Coast Vampires are important, they can wait." Marabella slowly tries to move however the bottle slips from her hand and hits the ground alerting them. She tries to hide in the corner as Vladimir and the guy sniff the air for the scent of Marabella; Vladimir's eyes change as his fangs come out saying, "I don't know about you, but I suddenly feel like having a drink." Marabella panics as she gets up to run however Vladimir uses his super-speed power and blocks her path saying, "pretty little things like you should not wander at night without a bond." 

Marabella says, "get the hell away from me, you bloodsucker!." Vladimir says, "it's a shame you don't even realise how sweet you smell, like sweet honey in a mystic cave or deep in the darkest ocean like a thousand lives waiting to be born." Marabella takes out a small knife and points it at Vladimir as she keeps taking a step back as he laughs saying, "oh, darling your little toy can hurt me?" Marabella says, "I guess we will find out." He says with a smirk, "come here, baby." Marabella slashes the knife on his arm as he gets a cut however his healing abilities quickly sort the injury. Vladimir says, "you should not have done that!" He comes closer and tries to grab Marabella by her neck as she kicks him in the groin and turns to run when she sees the other guy trying to get her; she grabs a wooden stick from the dumpster and tries to swing it at him saying, "if you dare touch me I will kill you!." Back inside Kyan was with his men waiting for Vladimir as Anna came over with a drink saying, "for you, sir." Kyan thanks Anna as he looks at Vladimir's men saying, "this is only the most important meeting between our families, and he is making me wait, on purpose." One of the men says, "well sir, he had a situation to deal with." Kyan gets up and heads out whilst Marabella is still swinging the wood trying to clear her path to run away however Vladimir suddenly grabs her from the back and pushes her against the wall holding her hands above her hands as she struggles to free herself; he brings out his fangs and sinks them into her neck as she thinks, 'oh god, am I going to die?.' He removes his fangs as his eyes flash deep and her blood lingers from his mouth as he says, "your blood... I'm going to keep you." He bites her again as she struggles to free herself closing her eyes when Kyan suddenly comes behind grabbing Vladimir off Marabella. Marabella drops to the floor as Kyan sees her unconscious and angrily looks at Vladmir before punching him repeatedly whilst he says, "Kyan, you are supposed to be the baddest on the South Coast, let's see what you got!." 

Vladimir kicks Kyan however Kyan is much more stronger and attacks Vladimir back by slashing his face as Kyan looks on shocked with Vladimir holding his face; He comes closer saying, "you stay away from her!." Vladimir says, "some peacemaker you are, you just made an enemy." Kyan's eyes become red as his fangs come out saying, "FUCK OFF, ASSHOLE!!." Vladimir leaves with his men as Kyan comes over to Marabella who is still unconscious as he says, "hey Marabella, wake up! it's ok." Kyan sees the bite mark on Marabella's neck and checks her pulse before lifting her in his arms and carrying her back inside. A few moments later Kyan's men sees Kyan carrying Marabella inside as Anna comes over saying, "Mara, is she ok?." Kyan says, "Oliver, check her." Oliver checks her wrist as he finds a pulse however says, "she has lost too much blood, her pulse is very weak, Boss." Frankie says, "I knew this mortal was trouble." Kyan gets up and goes over to her asking, "where is your blood supply? She needs O negative." Frankie says, "sir, I- I am all out of real blood." He sniffs before using his super-speed to check out the club as he soon finds something hidden at the back of the cupboard and brings it out. Frankie is stunned as Kyan comes to her saying, "you lied to me?!." Frankie stumbles replying, "n-no I... it's just I...." He holds her neck saying, "YOU ARE FIRED!!."
