hi darling, when are you free for a second date?jisung's heart jumped when he got the text. he knew minho had asked him for a second date, but he honestly didn't think the boy was serious.
he quickly texted back, not wanting the older to be kept waiting, although minho wouldn't mind if jisung took a day to respond.

the week after is a little tricky but if it's better for you then i'll make room! ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗthe way jisung texted always brought a smile to minho's face. he loved the boys use of cute emoticons and the way jisung was so much more confident when texting.

i can't wait! (∩˃ω˂∩)the conversation ended after a couple minutes of casual conversation about what they would do, ultimately, minho said he wasn't going to tell the younger because it was going to be a surprise.
jisung complained that last time, when he didn't know where they were going, he freaked out on what to wear, so minho told him a dress code.
on wednesday, the younger had dressed up a little for work. he wore a soft, striped sweater with blue jeans with neat rips at the knees. he wore a tad of eyeshadow and eyeliner and covered his blemishes with concealer.
he had styled his hair nicely and so decided against wearing his usual purple beanie.
when he walked into work, his boss, jin, immediately asked whether he was going on a date. he got his answer when jisung shyly looked down with a red flush laying across his cheeks.
"is this a first date? or are you seeing someone regularly?" jin leaned against the counter, his elbows on the surface and his handsome face resting in his hands.
jisung held up two fingers, signalling it was the second date.
"oh my god, my son scored a second date!" jin embraced him quickly.
hearing this, jieun quickly appeared from the back of the shop.
"what?! jisungie scored a second date!" she gasped and joined jin in the group hug.
jisung just laughed at their parental instincts around him.
~+*+~
finally, it was nearing 6pm. the shop closed at this time and the only people left were jin and jisung.
jieun and a few of the other workers had gone out for dinner to celebrate one of the employees's pregnancy.
jin couldn't go because he had a birthday dinner with his daughter and jisung couldn't go because he had a date.
the bell to the shop chimed happily and jisung rushed out from the back of the store after hooking his apron on it's peg, hoping it was minho. he beamed when it was.
"i'm here to pick up the prettiest flower in the store. i think he's called han jisung?" minho grinned at jisung's flustered face.
the pick up line was cheesy but somehow, it made the younger's heart swell and butterflies flutter in his stomach.
"s-st-top." jisung covered his face with his hands, trying to hide his blush.
"oh!" minho suddenly exclaimed, jisung looked up from where his face was buried in his hands.
minho looked as though he was trying to remember something before he lifted his hands up, "hi darling, you are beautiful." he signed with a proud grin on his face.
jisung covered his mouth with his hands. although the sentence was simple, the younger couldn't express how much that simple act meant to him.
minho had learnt sign language. for him. even though jisung had never mentioned it. that meant he must have observed the way he communicated with changbin.
his last boyfriend never learnt sign language for him. he always said that if jisung really cared about communication, he'd learn to talk properly.
"so? was that coherent?" minho giggled a little.
jisung nodded and with a flood of confidence from how thankful he was, he wrapped his arms around minho's neck.
minho was surprised at the action before he hastily wrapped his arms tightly around jisung's waist.
the older felt little tears dripping onto his skin and he pulled back, cupping jisung's cheeks while still keeping them in close proximity.
"you okay?" minho asked, concern littering his voice.
the younger nodded, "thank you." he signed.
"thank you?" minho questioned, still slightly unsure. he smiled when jisung nodded once again.
"you don't need to thank me, darling." his hands dropped to rest on jisung's waist after wiping away all his tears, "i was frantically reviewing my flash cards on the way here and was planning on opening with sign language but as soon as i saw you it all left my head." the older explained, causing jisung to giggle.
minho cooed internally at the sound and ruffled the boys soft locks before pulling away and interlocking their fingers.
"come on, i'm here to take you out, no?"
