There was a small chance that someday, I'd make the world a better place.

People knew that the world was a half-fair, half-unfair place. That was why they voted me, Jinhuan, to volunteer for the peacekeeping.

The next day, I was walking across a beautiful Chinese zigzag pond, with a singular lotus on the center. I wondered whether I was the only the person to come across such a beautiful soul shattering sight. Suddenly, a soft sound reached my ears.

Did that sound like a young woman's?

If it wasn't, the sound would have probably bounced back. Not wanting to approach further, I started to slowly walk toward the Imperial Palace. A voice then asked, "Why don't you stay with me?" It was so sweet that I got my slow pace and walked towards the pond.

"Where are you? Show yourself..." I called out, softly.

A yelp of panic echoed from one side of the pond and then, a shadow of a young woman fell on her back on the ground. Before she had time to reconsider waking up, I made my own time to go rescue her. A few seconds later, I was holding her injured body in my arms. She was asleep from the injury.

That meant, if I had to treat her, she'd be fine...maybe the Majesty Jin could cure her. No, sorry. Jin was the doctor in our palace...

In the afternoon, the young woman woke up, dazed and then sat up on her bed. Looking around, she found she'd lost her green, emerald hairpin. As she was about to get up to look for it, a young lady's voice not so sweet as hers approached her. "What are you doing, Li?"
