As I woke up early next morning, I realized that work was there for me to do. Stretching, I got down from my sleeping couch, picked my sword and walked to my training room. Li had got up early as well to start her job as the palace's healer. That way, everything was fine and no one got hurt. I was about to finish my last set of sword training when a knocking came on the door. "Come in," I answered gently and continued my training.

The door opened fortunately, to reveal my sister Ming from her archery training. She didn't have any blood on her hands but her hair and clothes were torn and messed from her training. "Oh, it's you!" I walk forward and hug her. "I thought..." Breaking from her, I looked at her hair, her clothes, torn apart, but no body part scratched. "Why isn't there any blood on your hands? Were you letting your sins have a toll on you?"

Ming shook her head. "Then why?" I asked out. She pushed me away.

"What's wrong?" I asked, tears filling my eyes. "Why are you doing this? Rejecting me as your enemy? How could I not know why? At least, tell me why. Or..." "Or what?" Ming asked with a scowl. "I'll find the answer myself. Nothing matters. It's just you don't want to talk to me. You're not yourself. It's best if you leave before you cause trouble."

I went out of the room to see Li, not causing any conflict between us.

When I arrived in Li's garden where she stayed, I was surprised that it looked magical with flowers, especially roses and violets, grew from both sides. It was decorated outdoors and was spectacular. Very much like Chinese folklore legend.

"Li?" I asked gently, looking around the room.

She appeared out of nowhere, dressed in a floral dress. Draped over it was a shiny cotton pink sweater. Although wearing no makeup at all, she looked seriously pretty like a consort ruler.

"What...were you doing all this time?" I wondered.

"This is where I water the plants every day I wake up at morning," explained Li, gesturing the roses. "Maybe the kingdom wants that I make them look neat." Smiling, I took her hand to ask, "Shall I help you for the rest of your duties?"

Li nodded and smiled.
