The other morning, the sun rose in the east. Except me and Li, who began an assorted group, everyone else was fast asleep. We were off on a walk. Except now we weren't alone. A consort named Han was leading us. It was like, every group should have a tour guide to lead the way to avoid getting lost, or maybe the emperor thought to lead with a tourist guide. As we three were walking along the path, Han stopped and said to us,
"I think I'd be eaten by a swamp monster if I kept going like this. You both get going, I don't want to die like this." I gently suggested, "Are there any swamps here?" Li took my hand and nodded. "They were the main reason I'm lonely in this big world," she replied clearly.
"What did the swamps do?" Han asked Li, who replied, "They were activated by the Snake Fairy spell. Then, the swamps told the Snake Fairy to scare all my family members. Since they were fairies, all of them turned to stone. All this, because they couldn't handle her like humans did. After turning to stone, that stupid snake put them in that mountain." Tears filled her eyes and I wiped them before they fell down her cheeks.
"It's fine. You're never being alone again," I whispered as I touched her cheek and brought her face close to mine. Turning to Han, I asked him, "Sure, you can leave to the palace. We'll both handle the swamps."
Han nodded and headed back.
As I looked around, I said quietly, "If there are swamps coming out, say it to me. I'll activate your power..."
Li was surprised. "I didn't know that I had a power." "You're a fairy born princess. That's why I had feelings for you in the first place. You were injured and I had to save you."
"Thanks." Li said.
A sound like a swoosh came from nowhere.
