To celebrate our victory, we both decided to take a walk around the Oriental palace and then take a rest. At that moment, it was raining, so Li suggested we should stay under a beautiful blossom tree to hide from the rain. My right arm around Li's waist, I was staring quietly in the horizon. If the rain didn't stop, we'd never go in the kingdom again.
Li could make by my handsome features that I looked serious. "What are you thinking?" She asked quietly.
I sighed, then turned my face to look at her beautiful face. "Just, that I imagined our future purposes. I saved you from the swamp then I got swallowed almost to death," I explained.
"Then...I saved you," Li whispered.
"How..." I whispered, pulling her close in my arms. "Can I thank you?"
Li said softly, "You don't have to thank me..."
I laughed softly and thought, I knew that I couldn't get through to her...
"Miss Li," I whispered.
"Yes?" She whispered softly.
I held her face with my hands and said in a very quiet voice unlike my own, "You've always been thoughtful of me, and risked your life to save my fate. You resulted in losing your own power. By now, you don't have your powers."
Li looked at me thoughtfully.
She said quietly, "That's the same, you saved from the swamp and encouraged me to walk..."
I looked at her.
Then I hugged her whispering, "At least you're an important person. Someone important to me."
Li hugged me back.
"Master Huan?"
"Yes?"
"Are you aware of what I feel for you?"
I thought I had feelings for her in the first place. But dismissed them as a part of my imagination, which I had to regret.
"You wanna make me hear it?" I asked her gently. "You're no different than a fairy descent, aren't you?"
Li looked down, discouraged.
I took her face gently and lifted it up, comfortingly. Coming close to her, I whispered,
"Of course, I'm in love with you..." Then, came close to kiss Li full on the lips. Broke away from the kiss, and was giving her lips a small light, gentle peck with mine. Soon, she kissed me back. We kissed each other under the blossom tree, making a memorable memory of true love.
Without us seeing it, the rain stopped, the sun shone through, and blossom petals flew by us.
