Jungeun was furious.

Seeing her own father strangling Jiyoon, her eyes filled with anger.

Quickly getting up from the ground, Choi was next to the man in a flash. Grabbing him by the collar, she threw her father away from the girl.

Her main goal at the moment was to keep Jiyoon safe.

Without a sign of fear, she walked towards the monster who was once her loving father.

Noticing her approach, the undead stood up and grinned vilely at her.

- You're the same as me - the monster said with a rotten mouth.
- No, I'm not like you.

Running straight towards the zombie, Jungeun struck his jaw with her fist.

Flying to the side, the undead immediately rose to his feet.
He lunged towards her and tried to bite off her neck, but thanks to her quick reaction, Choi dodged the sharp fangs, which were already stained with someone's blood.

"We must kill him," said the voice in her head.

This time, Jungeun did not resist the voice and obeyed the command like a robot.
Without a single emotion, she picked up the rebar from the ground.
Expecting an attack, Jungeun said:

- Come on, you want to bite off your daughter's neck, right?

Grinning evilly, the monster pounced on her. Dodging the attack again, she turned around and hit the undead's shoulder with the iron.

Without waiting for him to get up, Jungeun cruelly plunged the rebar deep into his chest.
Looking mercilessly at her father, who was writhing in pain on the ground, she only pressed harder on his wound.

- No one dares to hurt my girlfriend... not even you, dad

"Kill him," a voice rang out in her head.

Looking at the evil grin of the monster, Jeongun pulled the iron out of the undead's chest.

Ignoring the monster's growl, Choi raised the rebar above her head.

- You're not my father - the girl said, preparing to plunge the rebar into the undead's skull
- Stop!

Suddenly hearing Jiyun's scream, she stopped a centimeter away from the monster's eye.

Holding her throat, Yoon stood up from the ground.

- Jungeun-ah, don't do this - she said softly
- He tried to kill you - Choi answered without taking her eyes off the zombie that was under her foot
- He is your father...
- No, he is gone - Jungeun cut off coldly
- Baby, please

Hearing the girl's pleading voice, Jungeun finally looked at Jiyoon.

Meeting the younger's eyes, Yoon shuddered. There was no warmth in them that she was used to seeing. Jungeun's already dark eyes darkened several shades. Now the younger looked at her with bottomless black eyes, in which she could not see the pupils.

Having lost her vigilance and weakened her grip, Jungeun was thrown aside.

As if in slow motion, Jiyoon watched as the monster with sharp fangs and claws ran straight at her. She closed her eyes in fear and was already prepared for pain, but she only felt splashes of blood on her face.

As soon as Jungeun was thrown aside, the girl immediately stood up and without hesitation threw the rebar straight at the back of the monster's head.

Opening her eyes, Yoon saw the frozen face of the undead who was once her girlfriend's father.
Watching the monster's body fall to the ground in shock, Jiyoon looked up in fear.
Jungeun was looking straight at her without emotion.
Jungeun, who had changed dramatically in a couple of minutes, as if this was not her childhood friend and girlfriend, but a completely different person.
