Abhishek and Manisha had arrived in Paris just a few hours ago, but it already felt like a dream. The City of Love, with its cobbled streets and the enchanting glow of its evening lights, seemed to wrap around them, creating a world where nothing else existed but the two of them.

They strolled hand in hand along the Seine River, the iconic Eiffel Tower shimmering in the distance. The gentle breeze carried the scent of fresh pastries and roses from nearby flower stalls, but Manisha's heart was pounding too loudly for her to notice much of anything else. She glanced at Abhishek, whose face was lit by the soft glow of street lamps, and a surge of emotion filled her chest. This was the man she had married, the man she had built a life with, yet there was something she had never been able to say to him.

"You're quiet tonight," Abhishek said, squeezing her hand gently. His deep voice broke the silence between them, his eyes searching her face for answers. "Is everything okay?"

Manisha gave him a small smile, but her thoughts were racing. She had never told him, not with words. Not in the way he deserved to hear it. And now, here they were in the most romantic city in the world, and the weight of her unspoken feelings was pressing down on her.

They stopped in front of a small café with twinkling lights, and Abhishek gestured to a nearby bench that overlooked the river. "Let's sit for a while," he suggested, his eyes warm and inviting.

Manisha hesitated for a moment, then nodded, following him to the bench. The view was breathtaking, but her attention was solely on him. Abhishek was everything she had ever wanted—strong, kind, patient. He had been there for her through every storm, every doubt, and every challenge. Yet, she had never told him the one thing he deserved to hear.

They sat in comfortable silence for a while, watching the boats glide along the Seine. Abhishek wrapped an arm around her, pulling her closer to him. "You know," he said softly, "I've dreamed about bringing you here for a long time."

Manisha's heart skipped a beat. "You have?"

"Of course," he said, pressing a kiss to her temple. "I wanted us to have a moment like this, away from everything, where it's just you and me."

She felt a lump form in her throat, her emotions threatening to spill over. Abhishek had always been open with his feelings, always making sure she knew how much he loved her. But her? She had never found the right words. Not until now.

"Abhishek..." she began, her voice barely a whisper. She turned to face him fully, her eyes locking with his. "There's something I need to tell you. Something I should have said a long time ago."

He raised an eyebrow, his expression curious but patient. "What is it?"

Her heart raced as she searched for the right words, her fingers nervously fidgeting with the hem of her dress. "I've always struggled to express how I feel," she admitted, her voice trembling slightly. "But being here with you... in this city... I can't hold it in anymore."

Abhishek watched her intently, his eyes softening with each word. "Manisha, you can tell me anything. You know that."

She took a deep breath, her heart thudding against her ribcage. "I love you, Abhishek," she finally said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I love you more than I ever thought I could love anyone. And I know I've never said it before, not in words, but I've felt it for a long time."

A mixture of surprise and tenderness flashed across Abhishek's face. His hand found hers, his fingers intertwining with hers as he pulled her closer. "Manisha..." His voice was thick with emotion, and for a moment, he seemed at a loss for words.

"I know I should have said it sooner," she continued, her voice shaky but determined. "I just... I didn't know how to. I was scared, I guess. Scared that saying it would make me vulnerable, that it would change things between us. But now, standing here with you, I realize that holding back has been the hardest thing. I don't want to hide anymore. You deserve to know how much you mean to me."
