It's been a month since me and Kyoya started dating and I've loved every second of it. Believe it or not he really does have a soft side, not that anyone else sees it tho. I woke up this morning to a note from Kyoya saying to get ready to go out. It kinda caught me off guard. Recently we haven't been able to hang out. Kyoya trains in the morning while I train at night. Plus with me looking for a job it's taking up a lot of my time. Kyoya swears he can take care of everything but I don't want to feel like  burden.

I throw on some brown cargo pants with a black sleeveless top. I can't wait to see what he has planned for today. Kyoya isn't one to plan dates... or anything for that matter. I put on my shoes and headed out to Kyoya's training grounds.

"Kyoya!" I yell out once I get to the top of the mountain. It's getting easier by the day to climb to the top. I see how Kyoya does it so quickly. "Kyoya!" I call out again while walking around.

Suddenly I see a tornado form and hear a raging roar. "Found him" I mumble to myself, then start running towards the tornado. I reach the bottom of the tornado and decide to wait until he sees me. I walk over to a group of trees and lean on one while I'm waiting.

Kyoya's POV:

"Roar Leon!" I yell out as Leon moves the tornados and twist them together. I've been out here for hours practicing this move. If we can get it right we'll finally be strong enough to beat Gingka, maybe even Cass! Cass... It's been a couple weeks since me and her really got to hang out.

I call Leon back and look up to the sky. Sighing, I let myself relax a little. "Not bad" I hear a voice say. "Didn't realize I had an audience" I say with a slight chuckle. I turn around to see none other than my beautiful girlfriend waiting for me. "I see you got my letter" I say while walking over towards her. "Nah I just came out here to be lion food." She says sarcastically.

"Whatever, let me change clothes and we can go." I say pointing back to my bag. "I'll be waiting." She says leaning back on the tree. I go to grab my stuff, duck behind some bushes and get dressed. After I'm down I come back out and we make our way back in town.

"So what's the plan?" Cassidy asks as we walk into town. "Well there's a basketball game at 2:00, we have half court floor tickets, an arcade a block from the game and dinner reservations after that. Before then I was thinking we could go to bey park for a while." I say while still looking forward. I stop after I notice Cassidy stopped walking. "Babe? Why'd you stop?" I say turning around. She stays quiet, looking down a the ground. "Cass?" I say walking towards her. It's only when I get closer I realize tears are falling from her eyes.

Cassidy's POV:

"Babe? Why'd you stop?" Kyoya says turning around. I stay quiet. A basketball game? "Cass?" He said moving closer. "Baby what's wrong?" He says lifting my head up and wiping tears I didn't even know were there. "My dad and I judged to watch basketball together all the time. I actually haven't been to a game since he died." I say collecting myself and putting a smile on my face.

"Crap, I'm sorry, we don't have to go, we could grab some ice cream or go see a movie." Kyoya says scrabbling for ideas. "No no it's fine. I actually miss being on the court. It'll do me some good to see it again." I say replacing the fake smile with a real one. It's sweet how he was going to change his plans that quickly for me. "On to the park then?" He says giving me a small smile. "Race you there." I say running off. As I run the tears from my eyes start to dry and I feel ok again.

We get to the park and go for a walk. I show Kyoya all the different types of flowers and what some of them mean. We stop to watch a few bey battles but don't participate knowing it wouldn't be fair to the challengers. After a while we stop under a tree and sit there just enjoying each other's presence.
