As expected, I just sat there, going through a full explanation on how the Sinners got these "I.Ds", what the mirror worlds are, and how we need to feed Mephistopheles in order to grow even more powerful.
All of it sounded a lot more confusing than it had to.
Ellios: ... so, basically, you feed Mephistopheles, and in return we obtain these I.Ds, as you call them, which are vastly superior version of the Sinners as we know them, is that correct?
Dante: <why are you asking me, Ellios?>
Ellios: cause I don't wanna give Faust the pleasure to let her know I didn't understood shit of what she told me.
Dante lets out a tired sigh, clearly somewhat annoyed by my stubbornness.
Dante: <i... you know what? Ellios, I want you to go ask Faust what you didn't understand.>
Ellios: oh, c'mon Dante, you know my pride won't allow me to.
Dante: <Ellios, that was an order.>
Ellios: ... fine.
Dante: <it doesn't matter if you don't like it, i- wait, you just agreed? Just like that?>
Ellios: yeah? You're the boss, so, an order is an order.
I say as I calmly get up, making my way up to Faust.
Dante: <... what just happened?>
Outis: isn't it obvious manager? Your great commanding skills are finally showing results.
Said the professional boot licker as she sat down next to Dante.
Outis: not even the likes of Ellios seem to oppose you.
Dante: <no... I think there's more to it, Ellios doesn't seem like the type that just heed instructions or orders, not even from his superiors.>
Outis: then perhaps you have earned his respect, which is no surprise, it was simply a matter of time considering it's you who we're talking about manager.
Dante pondered over this, respect? Was that it? He couldn't exactly understand why someone whom just had known just a few days would give him any respect. True, he may have brought Ellios back from hell, but aside from that, what could have he possibly done to earn his respect? There must be a reason behind this.
Meanwhile in the other side of the bus.
Ellios: so... these I.D things... will I be getting any myself? Like, will I turn into an alternative version of myself?
Faust: no, you see, among all your versions in the mirror worlds, you are by far the strongest there is; making you use any I.D would be a downgrade.
Ellios: oh, so you finally see just how incredible i-
Faust: after all, you are already as stupid as they come; we don't need you weak as well.
Ellios: ... I swear you're asking to get your ass beaten.
Faust: Faust does not fear your empty threats.
Ellios: oh yeah? You'll be part of the training group of the next week.
Faust: Faust will not form part of these senseless session, they are merely a waste of time.
Ellios: never said you had a choice in the matter.
Faust: you-
Ellios: hey Dante, I can choose anyone I want to form part of my training sessions correct?
