The air has been tensed lately, specially between the two Color Fixers, it was clear both had enough of the other, but they were professionals... well, at least Vergilius was professional enough to just ignore Ellios' constant glares.
But aside from that, the day is proceeding like normal, and by that I mean that Ellios is observing the group as they throw a few streets rats inside Mephistopheles that ended up being crushed and consumed by the bus.
The sounds of the bones cracking would alert anyone in a one hundred meter radius, but these are the backstreets, which means it only attracted more people, which meant more food for Mephi.
Ellios: so, the machine feeds on blood and bones? As hardcore as it is, I think I would've just go for regular diesel.
Faust: it does not do such thing, Enkephalin, that's what it feeds on, an energy source Lobotomy Corporation treated, I'm sure you must know about it than us, since you used to help the company produce it.
Ellios: hey, I just dealt with the Abnormalities, I never got informed on how the process of it's recollection worked.
I can remember my time there, and it was mostly dealing with abnormalities, taking out a pen and paper, making some questions and sometimes interacting with them. And of course, beat the absolutely crap out of them in case they escaped, but I never bothered to even ask anyone how that method of recollection worked.
Ishmael: You mean the previous L Corp. I heard it produced energy using its Singularity, though all that remains of the company now is rubble.
Ellios: a pity, I should give those ruins a visit one of these days, see if I can find any of my belonging.
Dante: <well, you're in your lucky day, I heard from Vergilius that we're going to explore one of the branches of the old Lobotomy Corporation.>
Ellios: is that so?
Hm... I can remember the day I was hired by her. Maybe it was fate, or maybe something even bigger, but one thing was clear, I was meant to join that place, for better or worst.

I was walking through the Black Alleys that day, Kali by my side, just a casual patrol; I was just recently promoted to Color Fixer, "The Red Penance!"... and as cool as it sounds, it was mostly done as a mock, giving me the same color as my mentor, a way to tell me that I live and will live in her shadow... and as much as I despise it, it was already settle.
Kali looks around the streets to see if there's any problem to take care of as we discussed what for me was one of the most important topics in the whole city.
Ellios: I'm telling you Kali, there's nothing like Hamhampangpang, the sandwiches they have are nothing short of heavenly, you gotta try them.
Kali: how about you try to stop thinking about food for once? I swear you look like you gained some extra pounds.
I simply scoff at her as I look down at my stomach.
Ellios: sorry for not being a training freak like you.
Kali: it's called staying in shape; maybe you should try it once.
I roll my eyes as we keep walking...
Ellios: well, I think I've done enough of that, I mean, c'mon, I'm finally a Color Fixer!
Kali: yes Ellios, you haven't stopped talking about it since the past two weeks... you're letting it get to your head.
