Y/N POV:
I woke with a start, but the brightness quickly faded to reveal an all-too-familiar scene. I was chained at the pearly gates of Heaven, my heart sinking. The air felt heavy with sorrow.
Around me were the faces of my closest friends: St. Peter, Gabriel, Azrael, Michael, Raphael, and Uriel. Their expressions were a mix of sadness and guilt, and I could see the sadness in their eyes. They didn't want me to be here, trapped in this moment of reckoning, but their hands were tied.
God stood before us, a figure of quiet authority. His expression was unreadable, a stillness that sent shivers down my spine. I had always respected Him, but in this moment, I felt utterly alone.
"Y/N," God began, His voice echoing with weight. "You've crossed a line. Your actions have put the balance at risk."
I struggled against the chains, desperation clawing at me. "But I was only trying to help! I wanted to save the souls in Hell! I didn't mean to defy you!"
Sera's laughter cut through the tension, a cruel sound that echoed in my ears. She stepped forward, reveling in my predicament. "Oh, it's truly delightful to see you brought low, Y/N. You could've avoided all this if you'd just stayed in your place."
"Shut up!" I shouted, rage bubbling within me. "You don't understand anything about sacrifice!"
Emily's voice broke through the chaos, her eyes shimmering with tears. "Please, God! Don't do this! Y/N is innocent! She was fighting for us!"
Leon stood beside her, nodding vigorously. "She's done nothing wrong! You can't send her to Hell!"
But the council remained silent, bound by their loyalty to God. The weight of their inaction felt like a heavy blanket, suffocating and bitter.
God raised a hand, silencing the room. "Your intentions do not absolve you, Y/N. You've endangered the very fabric of Heaven."
"No!" I cried, the despair crashing over me like waves. "I can't go! I need to fight for the souls who deserve a second chance!"
Michael stepped forward, his expression pained. "I wish it didn't have to be this way. But the council has made its decision."
As I looked into his eyes, I saw the conflict mirrored there. He didn't want to do this, but he was powerless against the will of God.
Sera's smirk widened. "It's too late for redemption now."
With a swift motion, Michael reached for the chains, and I felt the energy shift around me. "No! Please don't!" I begged, my heart racing.
But it was too late. With one final push, Michael released me from Heaven's grasp, and I felt the ground give way beneath me.
"Y/N!" Emily and Leon shouted, their voices filled with anguish as I fell into the abyss.
I fell and fell, the brightness of Heaven fading into darkness. As the heat enveloped me, I realized I was being sent to Hell. My heart sank, but beneath the fear, there was a flicker of hope.
I would find a way back. I would keep fighting for what I believed in, for my friends, and for the souls in Hell.
And deep down, I held onto the thought that maybe, just maybe, I'd find my way back to the one who mattered most—Lucifer.
A/N: Welp, looks like we're now in Hell... FUCK YOU, SERA! >:( Hope you guys enjoyed!
Love, ~Amy~ 💐
