(scene opens to Jake's Mountain where the pups including Everest are helping set up for meteor shower tonight)
Mayor Goodway: (walks over with Ryder) Excellent work pups!
Ryder: Yep! I'm sure everyone will be eager to see the meteor shower!
Everest: For sure!
Mason: (walks over with Pumpkin and Gulpa) Hi guys!
Mayor Goodway: (screams) Gah! Fox! (protectively holds Chickaletta)
Pumpkin: Yeesh! Still judgey!
Everest: (shocked gasps) That fox talked!
Gulpa: Pumpkin and I both talk!
Everest: (surprised) Whoa! A talking turtle!
Mason: They've got a pinch of genie pup magic in them which lets them talk Everest! Also Pumpkin is the magic paw fox and Gulpa is the magic paw snapping turtle!
Gulpa: I can also turn into a sea turtle!
Everest: Cool!
Mirage: (runs over then skids to a stop against Mason's legs) Oof! Sorry, I was doing something!
Mason: It's all good, Mirage!
Marshall: What were you doing, Mirage?
Mirage: Bathroom break!
Marshall: Good enough answer for me!
Mirage: (nods) (giggles)
(Hailey Daily arrives in her van)
Mayor Goodway: Hailey Daily! She's back!
Hailey Daily: (exits her van along with Mr. Nibbles) Hi everyone!
Ryder: Hi Hailey! It's been awhile!
Hailey Daily: It sure has Ryder! Mason, Mirage! Great seeing you both too!
Mason: Nice seeing you too Hailey!
Hailey Daily: Just here to do a news report about the meteor shower! Also it's an excuse to visit!
Mr. Nibbles: (looks at Gulpa and Pumpkin) (confused meow)
Hailey Daily: (notices the other two animals next to Mason) I see you've got new animal friends with you Mason!
Mason: Yep! (pets Pumpkin and Gulpa) Pumpkin is a magic paw fox and Gulpa is a magic paw snapping turtle/sea turtle!
Hailey Daily: Wow! Magic Paw?
Mirage: They can do magic like us genie pups among other things! An immune to Copycat's copying powers!
Hailey Daily: How do you know that?
Mason: (sheepishly) We visited an alternate universe and let's just say Gulpa bit that version of Copycat several times, each a little too hard! It's best I do not tell the whole thing!
Hailey Daily: What happened?
Mason: Some things are best left untold Hailey Daily!
Ryder: Best to follow Mason's advice Hailey!
Mr. Nibbles: (walks toward Gulpa)
Mason: I'd advise against that Mr. Nibbles!
Gulpa: (snaps her jaws as a warning)
Mr. Nibbles: (immediately steps away from Gulpa)
Everest: Why'd you do that Gulpa?
Gulpa: (calmly) I've got my reasons, dear!
