"AVERY, WAKE THE FUCK UP!" I yell as I jump off my bed, pushing Avery's feet away from my face, yesterday while Shutter Island was playing, we fell asleep. Me comfortably in my soft pillow and Avery one hand hanging off the bed, the popcorn bowl tipped with popcorn on her nose and her mouth fairly open, with her feet set next to my face.
She grumbled and wiggled her tongue a bit before just settling back in the same posture she once was.
"AVERY, IT IS FRIDAY AND WE HAVE SCHOOL, SOMETHING WE ARE VERY LATE TO. GET YOUR BUTT UP." I was welcomed with more grumbles.
I was currently in the bathroom, a toothpaste beard in the making when I get overly, infuriated.
I rinse and spit and stomp out of the bathroom, but can't help but laugh when I see Avery unmoved, but her butt stuck up in the air.
Creeping to my phone, I quickly, and waited impatiently as it, switched on, and then clicked the most stunning picture of my best friend, Avery Evans.
I filled up my cupped hands with water, ran into the bedroom, and splashed it all over her face. Then I bolted out of the bedroom before Avery could attack me.
"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU, YOU WRETCHED, VILE WOMAN, I AM- WHERE IS MY TOOTH BRUSH? NEVER MIND I FOUND IT- GOING TO KILL YOU." Avery yelled, she always had an extra bag of clothes and toiletries here, she fell asleep at my place way too many times to count.
"Lovely." I muttered under my breath as I shrugged on a leather jacket over my tank top to protect me from the cold. My jeggings that are tucked into my uggs should help too. Okay, furry, white uggs, black jeggings, plain white tank top with a red jacket. Great, I look like a newspaper.
I roll my eyes, being the nerd I am, I will be one of the few people who'd get that joke.
My dark brown, wavy hair hangs on one side and flows to the length of my waist, my huge glasses just topping off the look with a sense of...me in it.
"AVERY!" I scream from the living room and when I turn around, she stands there with both hands on her hips, a very mature posture for Avery.
Her red hair was pulled back into a high, bouncy pony tail, flowing just a little over her shoulder. Her fairly, pale skin and bright red hair only made her blue eyes pop even more. Being the friend of such a girl, made your self-esteem crash and burn in hell, but I love her for being so humble, but annoying.
She furrows her maroon colored eye brows and scowls, "I have an inhumane urge to rip your heart out and eat it. The thirst I have for your blood is definitely vampire level." I roll my eyes.
"Bite me." I say with a smile.
"Gladly." She smiled back.
I look at what she was wearing, and I noticed it was one of my short, white, floral printed dresses. The dress was till about your knee and the floral were a dim yellow with a brown belt around the waist. The shoes she wore were brown flats. Her body looked so small and curvy. Nice chest, her hips broad and her thick thighs, she was truly ideal and so much cuter compared to me.
I scrunch up my nose, "Ava, keep the dress. It looks so much better on your curvy figure."
"No way Ria, I'm-" Avery starts but, "Shut up and take it." I play the same card she played one me, I smirk and she narrows her eyes at me and takes her car keys out of the bowl and I do the same.
"Let's go." Avery says as her shoulders slump and her blue eyes dim a little.
"I'll show you who Seth Lockhart is today at lunch!" I chirp as I throw an arm across her shoulders, "Ah!" Avery squeals and runs to her car on the sidewalk while I walked to mine on the drive way.
Maybe today will be a good day.
My heart leaped and pounded harder as I neared my car and reached for the handle. Avery at that moment turned around, out of coincidence, and looked at me, "Are you okay?" She yelled from around her car, I nodded with a giddy smile, "Yeah! I'm alright." I waved her off, smiling and blushing as I ducked into the car.
I just remembered I had AP English today.

I sped down the streets, Avery said she'd meet me there after taking a pit stop at her place, she felt naked without her light, and enhancing makeup touches. In my opinion, she was still ugly; sadly I continued to love her.
I drove through the empty tunnel which will lead me to a short highway and would open up to a parking lot and lead me to more hell! Oh, so lucky.
I loved the little town of Middleton I came from, but sometimes, it got pretty lonely.
It was such a quiet town, yes it had its festivities and moments of cute town things, but I miss New York. I stayed in NYC for about a year with my grandparents when I-
My memories are suddenly cut short when I see someone in the middle of the dark tunnel and I swerve out of control.
I spun out of control and the tires screeched on the gravel of the road, my breathing was deep and I screamed on the top of my lungs. My eyes were wide and my hands tightened around the steering wheel as though my life depended on it. It did.I slammed on the brakes and I came to a heart wrenching stop and I'm looking at the mouth of the tunnel, where I first entered through seconds ago.
I twist around in my seat and look behind me, the figure still stood there. I threw open car door and jumped out, adrenaline rushing through my veins, tears pooling in my eyes, "I-I'm so sorry. Please, forgive me. I didn't see you." I rushed out even though it wasn't my fault; I was in a state of pure shock and so much fear.
I neared the person and noticed it was a man, maybe a teenager; he wore a sweat shirt with a hood which obscured his features and jeans with converse.
What he did next frightened me to a whole new level.
He didn't look up; he simply removed his hand from a pocket on his sweat shirt, and waved at me.
I blinked and just looked at the boy, "I...I'm sorry?" I asked with my eyebrows furrowing and fear inching over my body. He simply continued to wave. With a pounding heart I turned around and walked back to my car, taking long strides. I slid in and slammed the door shut and looked through the rear view mirror. Shaking my head and a sheet of sweat covering my body, I spun the car around and continued my way to school.
He was gone.
