I sat in the backseat of my dad's truck glaring down at my phone as my parent's spoke with my new principal and my brothers packed my stuff into my new dorm.
I don't want to be here, AT ALL! I've been homeschooled since I was in 6th grade. It's my senior year so I asked if I could finally go to public school and this is what the hell I got.
A damn all boys academy. I'M A GIRL! I can't go to a school full of boys! Especially not these boys! They'd eat me, LITERALLY!
I can't believe mom was ok with this decision. School with boys? Monster boys at that? This is all fucking insane!
You see, my parents aren't human. They're werewolves and so are my brothers, Brayden and Liam. I'm just a normal human, mostly because I'm adopted and apparently my parents were normal.
How did two werewolves end up with a human kid? I have no fucking idea. Mom says she wanted a daughter and that's all that mattered but I always wondered why she didn't try to find a kid that was like the rest of them.
But back to my complaining, I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE! I'd rather stay homeschooled. At least then I was able to be in touch with females! I can't do this!
All boys? For a year? Hell no!
"Delaney, get out of the car." I heard my dad say. I looked over to see him holding the door open for me.
"No!" He rolled his eyes before he reached over and grabbed my ankle, pulling me out of the car.
"DAD NO! I DON"T WANT TO GO HERE!" I screamed as I grabbed onto the seat and tried to pull myself back into the truck.
"Brayden, Liam!" uh oh. I can handle dad, he's old. But Bray and Lolo? They're too strong.
"Don't call them over here!" I whispered as I glared at my dad. He shrugged before he moved out of the way, Bray and Lolo standing in front of me.
"Let's go, Del." Bray said, crossing his arms. Lolo looked at me with a knowing look before he nodded towards mom. I looked over at her and saw the sad look on her face. I sighed before I finally got out of the car. I grumbled as Lolo led me over to who I'm guessing is our principal.
"Ms Scott, you seem like a handful." The older man said as he looked at me.
"Seems so." I mumbled as I looked around, finally noticing the few students that seemed to stop in their tracks when they saw me.
There weren't many people around, just a few groups of very large men that stared holes into me. It's like they've never seen a fucking girl before. Oh, they probably haven't.
"Ms Scott, I promise you'll be happy here at Shadow Creek. You're surrounded by excellence." No, I'm surrounded by monsters!
"Right. Let me know when the "excellence" shows up." Lolo pinched my arm making me wince.
"Sorry about her. She gets like that when she's nervous." My mom apologized. She was definitely lying, I'm always like this.
"No problem. I understand completely. Why don't we make our way to your quarters," Quarters? Where in the HELL am I?
He turned and started walking towards a slightly run down looking building. It looked haunted, which I wouldn't be surprised if it was since I literally just saw a ghost boy.
Lolo waved at a group of guys before we walked into the building. The inside was actually really clean and pretty. It was decorated modestly, nothing too flashy. The thing that got me was how quiet it was.
"This is a one story building, the only one story building here. You're very lucky Ms Scott, You live closest to the school. You only have to walk down the street." The principal said as he smiled at me. I don't feel very lucky right now. I feel weird, tingly, if you will.
