The Next Day:

I slid on my shoes sluggishly before I glanced over to the clock on my desk. 8:03. I sighed before grabbing my phone, sliding it into my pocket and laying back down on my bed.

I was FREEZING! I'm so cold I feel like my feet are gonna fall the hell off. I might be sick but I don't feel bad right now. I even turned on the heat and I'm still freezing.

When I woke up I expected to see Mari laying beside me but he was nowhere to be seen. The moment I realized he was gone it was like someone had poured a bucket of ice water on me. I've been shaking ever since I woke up.

My outfit was a reflection of how cold I felt. I had on leggings, sweatpants, a long sleeve shirt and a hoodie. I just couldn't get warm.

MARI HAS RUINED ME!

His abnormal body heat has fucked up my body and now I can't get warm. I swear I'm gonna skin him alive. He should've said cuddling with him would make me feel like this.

My phone rang suddenly and I groaned in agony. I literally just want to go back to sleep. I slid my phone out of my pocket and answered it before putting it up to my ear.

"What?"

"We're outside. How long do we have to wait today?" I rolled my eyes hearing Bray. He wasn't about to get on my nerves today. I'm too cold to deal with him.

"I'm coming." I mumbled before I hung up. It was probably 2 minutes later before I had finally stood up and grabbed my backpack. I sluggishly made my way out of my room and down the hall.

I unlocked the door before pushing it open. I frowned seeing Namari standing there looking as if he hadn't put some type of cold spell on me. I noticed that Lex wasn't with them this morning but I didn't say anything.

"What's wrong?" Lolo asked quickly, taking in my appearance.

"I'm COLD." I grumbled before making my way towards them. They all looked at each other before looking back at me.

"It's like 97 degrees out here." Really? It feels more like 20.

"Are you sick?" Bray asked before he put his hand against my forehead, checking for a temperature.

"Nuh uh." He frowned before grabbing my hand and feeling the back of it.

"You're cold."

"I just told you that."

"You know what I mean." He said, rolling his eyes. I pulled my hand away before shoving it back in my pocket.

"Should I call mom? Or dad?" Lolo asked as he pulled his phone from his backpack.

"No. I'm fine. Let's go." I said before I started walking down the street. I could hear them all whispering about what could possibly be wrong with me but I didn't care.

I'm fine. Just cold. Very cold.

Brayden thought I was about to die from some unknown disease, Lolo thought I had the flu or some stomach bug that he heard was going around in the normal schools, and Namari thought I had a cold.

I'm literally fine. I just need something warm to cuddle with. Not Namari, he's the reason I'm like this. Maybe Zen Zen will let me lay on him in class?

After a few minutes we had finally gotten to the school. We all parted ways, Brayden and Lolo going to the right, me and Namari going left.

"You woke up cold, didn't you?" I looked up at him and glared silently. He nodded as if he knew exactly what I was saying.
